I’m not watching the battery like that but my general advice is to enjoy life and enjoy whichever face your heart wants.

How long is the face in active mode, really, right?

In the worst case scenario—older battery, 40mm, cellular, workout—maybe. But even then if you are in a workout the face isn’t showing at all.

That said battery seems very normal. I wear my old 40mm watches (the two on beta as well) for the same few hour chunk of time at home and they’re never below 40 on beta when I go to charge them for the next day and then turn them off (and am actively checking their %)

The rare case where the white dial feels right, bec of Cerammy. The Starlight gradient is quite opinionated, they hit it with the creme brûlée torch. Everyone should try the beta if they have a second watch (and tbh screw it even if you only have one!). I’m sure I’ll put it on my cellular-activated/workout S7 Starlight very soon.

A Capri Blue Hoagie. This whole combo only ran me like $70 amazingly ($40 iPad case found at an online bookstore clearing them out, $20 band cleared out at Best Buy , $9 prime day sale for AirTag)

Showing up quite a bit brighter than IRL

edit: white balance way off, AirTag loop is Capri Blue, band and iPad case are Surf Blue. but they all match. follow up photo in another post with outdoor lighting.

is it weird that Capri Blue AirTag loop perfectly matches the other two Surf Blues?

They should've named the loop Surf Blue. Guess that was out of season by then, I dunno.


It's a nice band but overshadowed by Blue Orbit at this point for me. That one went right back on.

still a bit tricky to 100% photograph accurately. looks ever so slightly different in this photo, but to my eyes in person it looks the same. very weird its such a close match too even for being different materials (I think?) at least the case/loop are similar vs. band are different let alone the different names.

Lol did you get a proto surf loop from charger and forget?

The loop does seem a little more purple…I’m guessing it’s just lighter than the Capri sport band, which I’m gonna say is not what’s pictured, band wise.

Also a silicone piece is not gonna be able to do the deep crazy glow of the custom sport band chemicals (has been my educated guess).
