Bright green still feels too new but also close enough to spearmint that plum still has my heart. Hoping I won’t have to break any ties!

Oh yeah definitely. Bambou is the best green that has come out— it‘s pretty close to perfect, though I would be equally happy with a couple shades darker, more of a Kelly green. But super saturated. Lighter than clover. Like the green equivalent of capri blue.

I just got a very good deal on a basically like new one on Discord, but I can’t wear it yet bc it is too big. I didn’t know Hermes bands had so many fewer holes than classic buckles, which I have no problem with. Apparently you can go to the Hermes store and they will punch a new hole for you, so I need to make it over there.
Only in the US though! In Europe, Bambou is sold out.

I only wear sport loops and I have a bunch of very good ones from AliExpress, along with one recent defective one, in the Sunflower color. I figured the quality of the new colors went down due to supply chain issues, and I vowed to stop buying knockoffs, but I recently took a chance on AliExpress again and got a Flash Light sport loop, an older color. It‘s fantastic. I’ve even ordered some more as backups because I love it so much. I think when my AliExpress bands are on my wrist, most casual observers would be hard-pressed to tell they’re dupes. If I could tolerate goo bands I’d buy nothing but OEM. But as long as the magnets and the Velcro work on my dupe loops, I’m happy with them. To each their own. ❤️
The knock-offs of the sport loops are fine. I prefer the real ones, mainly because the fakes are longer and look stupid on my tiny wrists, but at least the quality of those are passable.
The fakes of the sport bands however are absolute ****. Poor quality materials, shaky connectors and lint magnets. Anyone who says they are the same have obviously not held both together, the difference is clear to anyone with eyes and hands.

Did Apple just say ehhh the hell with the summer bands? My last purchase was in early March with Bright Green and a few others in the spring when the weather was actually nice in Florida lol
Going by Bandbreite I see a skipped summer 2021 (cloud blue and other bands derivative of the spring sport loops) and they did the International Collection instead.
I’m counting the same number of bands released across series 7 as usual though, going by sport band/silicone solo loops, which is the style that gets releases separate from September or March/April windows.

You forget it exists, especially the less saturated first gen, but when you crave Midnight Blue, it hits
No this is Gen 1, which is so desaturated that it has a special stealth to it, whereas Gen 2 and especially Deep Navy have a watery punch that just kinda makes you wanna wear Blue Horizon. But then there’s 2021 Midnight Sport Band which is even more stealth than MB1…
