Deep Navy is looking good. Arriving tmrw!
And the sport band being an s6 release is very matte/dry/dull compared to the solo loop, so you’ll achieve the same effect.

Do you have a preference? I’ve grown to appreciate the dry/matte finish
The colors are just so dull on the s6 bands in their fluoroelastomer version. And I’m able to keep my glossy ones from becoming fingerprint/shine nightmares.

Wear them one hole loose, don’t bend your wrist and hit the bulgey bit with the big hole, and just generally don’t let them touch skin.

Yes covid s3 is slowly driving me up the wall.

And to be equitable, I resent clover solo loop for being dull compared to the sport band. Mostly because I wish I had gotten it in my SSS/starlight aluminum size. Right now my clover sport band with silver pin clashes with gold and white ceramic (to a lesser extent) and future black watches.

Lol it is absolutely not a deal breaker for me either, I buy colors that appeal to me that’s all and how they come is how they come.
I’m gonna go ahead and say I’d rather Surf and Capri and Vitamin C keep their glow. And Dark Teal and Blue Horizon keep their gloss. I do kinda wanna see a matte khaki though.

Are you saying you won’t wear sport bands with the gold watch because of the silver pin? I’m actually the same way, but it didn’t seem like anyone else was. I actually got some gold hardware bands from Chargerstore (I think this was before solo loops came out) for this reason.

If I owned gold the silver pin/gold watch clash would definitely bother me. I felt the same way with SBSS. Now with Graphite being the perfect middle ground both silver and black pins work just fine with it.

I mean…it’s something to consider. Series 6 where the plum solo loop and friends all had richer color AND no pin, it was a no brainer.

With clover I can tell myself the richer green serves gold and white better than the solo loop’s lack of pin. Of course I wear a ton of silver pin on gold, too, with old bands.

Do you happen to have Blue Horizon and Deep Navy side by side shots in the archive?
BH more of a green tint but if we’re talking water you can see it’s drowning ya there. This is also a flat/shade pic. Irl or on a video you could see light falling all the way through its window, to use the leather term.

I don’t have Horizon. But I can’t imagine picking it when I could wear Capri instead. :)
I own both and actually prefer Horizon by a fairly wide margin. Was somewhat disappointed with Capri considering its reputation here. Still nice, but not enough to warrant the near full-retail I paid for it IMO.
