That lineup is begging for a red in the middle; or at least a hot orange
I had a plating lined up (“wintergreen” proto) before i even knew i was getting that super cheap gss7 and now I wonder if I should even bother because even the 18k yellow gold would be wasted by the silvery look of nugold.
The conversation has gone silent anyway and the wallet is still hurting from the protos he just sent me (check em out on the Rare Bands thread, first nike sport loop protos ive seen!)

My concept sketches of the new Majin Bu case leak, which he is not sure are final colors, and of course Apple might make Elderberry just a color for the case for the purple phone…names are from the leak. Red looks super similar to red4…

As expensive/valuable as some of the old Nikes can be, ya gotta put ‘em through their sporty paces and let them be sweated on. And maybe wear them one hole loose when not sporting.

I saw the leaked iPhone 14 case colours on Majin Bu’s twitter, some quick thoughts:
-Storm Blue looks very close to Abyss Blue - wouldn’t surprise me if they keep Abyss around for another year considering its stayed available throughout the entire of the 13’s/S7’s lifespan
-Looks like Midnight will definitely also be staying to replace black
-Nothing leaked for the leather cases is a concern, Apple might’ve done away with leather links / iPhone cases for good!
Storm Blue doesn’t have to be super different from Deep Navy and Abyss Blue for Apple to ship it with a ton of pride. Even without Blue Aluminum…they love blue!
I will add on an unrelated note, that Sun Glow looks like it will be my favourite if it’s real, it’s actually what Lemon Zest should’ve been rather than a clone of Ginger. The deep purple (Elderflower) as well looks like it would be another winner as well. I’m indifferent on the lilac that’s there, much prefer English Lavender
For everyone else, here’s the leaked silicone case colours in question (if correct these would also translate to the sport band / solo loop colours)
I’m trying to temper my expectations, but yeah could be a real banger. The orange accent on the case really tricks the eye into seeing the main color as the mango band I’ve always wanted.
My uneducated guess is that maybe sun glow has the opposite behavior as Lemon Zest wrt glow, that it might wash out in bright light and saturate in the dark/shade.
WELL ACTUALLY IF YOU LOOK AT IT APPLE RELEASED WHAT WE WOULD CONSIDER THE WINTER AND SUMMER BANDS IN FALL AND SPRING RESPECTIVELY. IT’S UNCLEAR WHETHER IT’S A SUPPLY CHAIN ISSUE OR A SEPARATE STRATEGIC DECISION AS THE CUPERTINO WEARABLE MATURES AND CONTINUES TO FIND NEW AUDIENCES AND MARKET SECTORS. IF YOU ASK ME I MISS THE FASHION POSITIONING OF THE WATCH IN THE ANGELA AHRENDTS AND JONY IVE ERA. DO YOU REALLY THINK THEY’LL DISCONTINUE THE ALUMINUM COLORS AND TI AND GOLD STAINLESS?
