The closest to what I’d be looking for is the Fall 2015 Sport Band, but what I’d want is more of a dark red-orange, very automnal, almost rust/brick-esque.
Something more like #841800 (at least the way it appears on my screen)
The 1st gen (Product)RED Sport band is somewhat close-ish in the picture, but not orange enough, but as for a Braided Solo Loop (or Solo Loop) nothing comes close really.
Got it. Discounting the Titanium Edition bands, they really haven’t done gray/brown in the era since S4–except Coastal Gray. Khaki kinda.
There seems to be some kind of ban on earth tones in rubbery bands. The Umber leather really drives the stake in! That would be a lovely toffee sport band or something.
Haven’t double-checked, but it *feels* like the past few collections have been very similar; some sort of pale yellow, desaturated blues and greens, maybe a purple somewhere or a peach/pink.
I’ve been wanting to create a chart to place all the bands on some sort of histogram to make out some trends, but I think it’d need three axis for Hue, Saturation and Brightness, so basically a 3D graph, and I wouldn’t know how to do that and make it legible.
I love the Trail Loop with the orange end, but it says it will arrive in 8-10 weeks…

A strong/yummy color like Sunglow with no sport band option is unprecedented. I guess it makes the Yellow Ocean Band more appealing for 42/44/45/49 owners.

Is the Fall 2022 release of Product Red Sport Band a new shade of red?
I preordered quite a few bands but did not order Rainforest Braided Solo Loop or Umber Leather Link. May order those later on. I ordered 45mm s/m Succulent, Slate Blue, Elderberry sport bands and in the solo loop size 8 I ordered sunglow, storm blue. Was tempted on ordering chalk pink solo loop too but it was not a new fall 2022 band so I passed on it. I also ordered the 49mm Orange Alpine loop in medium. I have the gold stainless steel 45mm series 7.
Love the fact the NIKE faces are now available to non NIKE edition Apple Watch but disappointed that watch faces are still limited to 50 under my faces.

Yeah I have been waiting for a colour like Sunglow for ages but they did me like that... As someone who constantly resizes their sport band for comfort I will have to decline what would otherwise have been an easy buy.
Is there a video of how the Trail Loops work? I love the comfiness of the regular Sport Loops.
2:26 into the Ultra film…it just looks like a regular sport loop. Elasticity sounds nice tho! And I’m sure the hook and loop closure is a wee bit more robust. Pull-tab too obviously.

Feeling pretty much the same. No new bands for me now - I may consider Rainforest braided because it's a color I don't have in Braided. Sport loop wise I like Elderberry and the Red because of the stripes.
Shifting my focus to iPhone for a while, but I'll stay tuned for real-life pics from the amazing people here
