Fedex dropped this classic at my door all of five minutes before my bedtime. No time to take proper photos of it until this weekend, but here's a peek at my new favourite.

Lilac Sport Loop (Spring 2019) on Gold Alum S6. Purple + Gold = Royalty

Greetings fellow bandoholics, I came across these bands online, what are the chances that they are genuine? Does anyone see something that screams fake?
Thanks!View attachment 2252751
The weave looks like knock-offs in the middle chunk, at this resolution of photo. And some of those lug shapes. The red BSL looks legit but the pride one from this angle is weird. The nike lugs also seem wrong but the pic is fuzzy.

Bummed out by the current lack of edition watches, could not care less about the ultra or stainless steel.

Looking for advice by other Ti owners, currently own a few sports bands and a 38/40/41 Stainless Steel link (The bigger one just did not look right).

Braided solo loops are real. Everything else is fake.
Thanks for the quick reply. Here are some more photos the seller provided. Does this change anything? I think you are 100% correct, even with 1 blurry photo - Nice!

is that alpine a knockoff? and wdym about the link? you can't wear a 38mm link on a 45mm watch without it looking... bad.

IMO braided solo loops are amazing for the Ti, Some Woven Nylons work to because of the brushed clasps. I feel like you would enjoy the hermes bands

Still looks like the braids are real but the rest are fake. Weave is off, buttons are silver, and no size badges are all good tells.

The pride braid even looks a little weird to me, but I dont think it's fake off the bat. Very very few, if any, fake braids were made with metal lugs.

Yeah the pride BSL is fake, but tries to look a tad more real than the usual knock-off. That one red sport loop might be legit but honestly best not to deal with this seller at all. You never know what other nefarious businesses seemingly harmless knock-offs are funding higher up the chain…

Actually yeah i can see pitting on the metal, warping from where they stamped out the lug holes, and the braid to lug ratio is way off. I'll vote fake pride braid too.

Nah, the 4th gen is missing a size sticker and the 3rd gen is visibly cheaper plastic quality.

Whoa, just checked them out I'd buy them were the color-palettes not eminently tacky (in my eyes that being). Do you know if any other bands (aside the Stainless Links) use clasps. I dislike the alpine loop with a passion because of the fastening mechanism.

The pride BSL is a fake, about 5 bucks new at AliExpress.
You can tell by the protruding black middle button, the OEM don’t have this.
Instead, they have a raised metal button, along with laser engaving.

That Pride braided is 100% fake. The way it tapers to the sides of the lugs is completely wrong. It should be much smoother, not at a sharp angle like that. The red braided looks legit.

1. is that alpine a knockoff? and 2. wdym about the link? you can't wear a 38mm link on a 45mm watch without it looking... bad.

Whoops, didn't see your mention.

1. Genuine, at least that I'm aware of ... It was a gift so who knows 😃 but very unlikely.

I strongly suspect your assessment stemming from the misalignment of the lugs, consider the strap being made for a 45mm diameter apple watch ultra (model for which I previously expressed a distaste) and the s7 ti coming up short at 44mm hence the misalignment.

2. Who said that I couldn't ?

I don't experience the manic consumption to subdue my taste-making and aesthetic sense to the monolithic phantasmagoria machine of the big apple. I happened to have a leftover SS bracelet from my S2 Apple 38mm watch and enjoyed the brushed on brushed look of the combo when I tried it out.

There remains a gap where the larger would have filled the hole, but this visual saillency of the fact does not distract from the revolting taper angle linking the case to the lugs and finally the clasp. Why would I purchase something that brings me no enjoyment or functional value ?

The original charm of the piece has long faded and remains only in use for the ease of use of it's clasp. And I'll admit, it would be gauche of me to expend currency to correct such a minor imperfection.

Apologies for the windup, you implying a dear gift of mine being a forgery had me vexed.

Toodle-oo !

thousbands pointed out the link bracelet is unavailable for store pickup or shipping. Officially discontinued now?

I feel like the safe time of death was when the Series 4 came out and they didn't update to 40/44mm, but that's just my opinion I guess.
