Here are pictures (from the apple store) comparing my Hermes Orange band with the new Spicy Orange band. And a picture of my new Flash band

The flash looks a lot less "flashy" in your pic. Almost like a washed out lemon colour.

I have to agree, I was expecting Highlighter yellow and is more like Lemon cream. I just got the Pollen and original Yellow band, as soon as they’re here physically with me I’ll compare

That’s disappointing. Looks more like the “old” orange band. Was hoping it to be closer to the Hermès one...

It’s a little muted in real life, like a “whitewash” over it. The original Yellow was more vibrant. Similarly, my original Orange band is more “full” and “punchy”, the Spicy Orange again seems to have a whitewash over it.

Had a look at the Spicy Orange Silicone Case an and the darker Apple logo seemed to match my Watch band more.

Come to think of it, that may not be a bad idea.

This are awesome! so Hermes is Orange Orange (think Pumkin), Then the original is Red-ish Orange (oranges) and the new one based on my pictures and yours is like the original but white washed... hmm now I think I can justify tracking the original to buy!

I just got the Spicy Orange iPhone X case today and when comparing it with my original orange iPhone 6 Plus Orange case which I found in a drawer, the new one is a bit lighter, not a whole lot, but somewhat lighter, more "neon," so to speak. It and the new Spicy Orange watchband match each other perfectly.

Hey guys. I’m so disappointed. I bought a Red Classic Buckle (used but in good conditions, by CEX)... what I didn’t realise is that the Product (RED) shade of red is much darker, whereas the regular red is very bright. I wanted the Product (RED) ruby colour... can you please confirm if they are, indeed, different? Thanks a lot!

They are different. Product (RED) is indeed much darker.

I am new to the Apple Watch (just got it today). Purchased the following 42mm bands: Flash, Spicy Orange, Azure Blue, Ocean Blue and Cobalt Blue. I am also trying to find the Royal Blue band.
Just an FYI the royal blue band isn't what I'd expect to be royal blue, it's a lot lighter than cobalt or ocean blue.

Thanks for the input. If it is lighter than the two mentioned, it doesn't sound like it is a real royal blue. I guess the marketing pictur4es have been enhanced and or altered to look a deeper color than really is.

I had bought a 'used' one off a seller because I thought it was ocean blue (from pictures), and when I got it it was way lighter than I wanted. It's almost baby blue in sunlight..

I was expecting it to be the same colour as the 'pads' on the lugs.

Maybe this is off topic, but how does the closure on the Modern Buckle work? I have a light case of cerebral palsy, and that makes it difficult for me to work bands like the Woven Nylon or the Classic Buckle, although I can manage the Sport Band and Loop as well as the Milanese Loop. I assume the Leather Loop, Hermès Deployment Buckle, and Link Bracelet would be easy for me to work with, right?

how does the closure on the Modern Buckle work?

You squeeze the spring loaded buttons on the sides of the buckle to release. Putting it on is more of a challenge as you’d need to hold one end of the strap on your wrist so the buckle on the other could snap into position and attach magnetically. Best to try out in person.

Note it comes in 38mm only and three different lengths. I mean sold separately, unlike the standard Sport Band which includes two sizes in the box.

Search for “Modern Buckle” on YouTube. Here’s one:

During the keynote in September Apple not only introduced the Apple Watch Series 2, but launched a few new bands (and/or new colors) as well—for the fourth time since Apple Watch goes on sale in April 2015. Unfortunately Apple discontinued some of the bands again, so I decided to do some research about every Apple Watch OEM band ever released. This is the result.

I highly appreciate your support and all the feedback so far, it helps me a lot within the process and
the finalization. It also helps to be as accurate as possible. Thanks!

Because this thread is a sticky thread now, and watchaware.com posted a lovely post about this few days ago, I decided to clean up everything and deleted all the previous versions to minimize confusion.

And yes, I will continue to update every single pixel as new bands are announced.

*** UPDATE November 6, 2016

Added an small icon as indicator to every band available bundled with a watch only.
Added all images available of the first Apple Watch Edition.

Completely re-build and re-arranged, one size only.
Added some titles/captions for all the different models of Apple Watch Hermès
Fixed some small issues. Whatever this means.

*** UPDATE March 21st, 2017

Apple Watch band offerings expand for spring 2017—"in striking new colors". Unfortunately I am few days off, but will post an update (of the the infographic) as soon as possible. Stay tuned!

*** UPDATE October 10th, 2017

Updated. Finally. The new graphic is less confusing and more compact—like a poster I would like to print out in full size. See latest posts for details.

[doublepost=1513737955][/doublepost]That poster looks awesome. I currently have 30 genuine apple bands. Is there any way I a full res file of that poster? I'd love to print one out and post it in my office.

Awesome updated graffifc. Would love to download it and print one out

That it does! That’s how I found Antique White and original blue for ~$20-something each in my searches. Good job.
My happiness did not last. I got one email thanking me for my business last night and another one this morning informing me that i was getting a refund, because the website did not have the band in stock. So much for thinking I scored a touchdown. lol

I am really frustrated that I cannot find royal blue, mint, and orange.
