Quick question: Did anyone ever see the Sunset Leather Loop in Large truly for sale? It's been unavailable for the longest time and I don't ever remember seeing it available. Did I miss it? Thanks

In search of a fog or concrete sport loop 38mm/40mm anyone seen one lately? Or have a website other than eBay that sells bands frequently?

Posh mark has been good to me for bands. Some really good deals on rare bands at times. Most bands are 38mm since the majority of sellers are female.

Every price is plus $6.49 for 2/3 day shipping. I think your first order has free shipping. Also you can make offers on everything there.

An example of a good deal would be a Nike Crimson sport loop that was $10 + $6.49 for $16.49 total

I think I saw L size offline in Apple Store, online it is available as well: https://www.apple.com/nl/shop/product/MV602ZM/A/leren-bandje-zonsondergang-44-mm-medium - check the L size

Interesting. Available on the Continent, but not available at all in the States. I wonder if there is an explicit stocking bias on colors Apple expects will sell well, like orange in Netherlands? Anyone else ever see this pattern of calculated distribution, or does it just feel like a coincidence?

looking for 42mm royal blue, new, unworn.. any clue? don't wanna pay crazy prices.

I felt the hibiscus in the store looked a lot more pink than IRL - but I will say that mine takes on different shades in different lighting. Here, it looks more red for sure next to light pink and rose red. Natural, indirect light.

L-R: Rose Red, Hibiscus, Light Pink, Peach, Pollen, Spearmint, Marine Green, Blue (2nd Gen)
can i buy the rose red?

I think coincidence. Netherlands is a big exception - it has most bands in stock long time since they are sold out in all other countries.

Does anyone with current Red Sport Loop & Sport band willing to share a side by side picture? I'm considering adding one of the two and I'd prefer whichever is darker.

Thanks!

Summer bands, already? :eek::cool:

I think this is the first Product Red sports band. I think they've only released one Product Red sports loop at this point?

Thanks for the photo. You're correct, there has only been one Sport Loop but I believe there have been a couple of different bands with some varying degree of color. It seems like the Sport Loop is the darkest of them which is certainly what I'm looking for. Anyone else?

The later red sport bands (gen 2 and 3) are indeed darker than the first gen pictured here, but wrt overall visual appearance, the loop is indeed darker still. Hard to capture in a foto, though.

Anyone else interested in the creation of an app/database to keep track of band colors/styles that you want?

I feel like this couldn’t be that much work...but I’m also not a developer

I am a developer. And for sure Apple will immediately ban such an app for using it's trademarks and product shots without permission.

I don‘t think so. There is a longstanding Mac and now also iOS app called „Mactracker“ that lists all models of Mac computers, iOS devices and accessories ever released and it also uses Apple product shots. Apparently, there never was a problem with this.

mactracker doesn't use official apple shots though, it just uses icons people have created.

That said, I think a watch band tracker could work if it relies on colors (maybe even just pulled from watch.app) instead of images of the bands. And to be honest, the images of the bands are not very indicative of the colors anyways.

if you want to know what's the material of the small diagnostics port cover under the band lug - it is black stainless steel :)

Is that the same for the white ceramic series 2 as well? I found a good, half price deal on a new series 3 grey ceramic and wanted to see some close up photos before I purchased.
