shows six 'new' midnight bands, but each link gives a 'page you’re looking for can’t be found’ error.
Screenshot? There are no new midnight bands. The NEW label on the Apple Store can be rather flexible and sometimes missing. This season it’s been thrown on old bands that are newly available in 42/46mm, it appears.

Y’all just went to the Apple Store again one week after taking a last look at the S9. Still action packed on Sunday after launch day. Here’s a comparison of the gold titanium vs my gold stainless steel S6:

Modern buckle on 42mm S10 jet black. Looks like space black but at least new size change does not look like that the newest Apple Watch is turning into a brick 🧱…

But the titanium Milanese loops, and the stainless steel updated ones ain’t bad at all. No magnets on the titanium ultra ones.

The plum loop looks satisfying because Dark Cherry only got half a loop and Elderberry is really nice but not that strong block color of Plum Gen 2.

Not sure if this the right place for this question or if I should make a new thread. Did Apple somehow change the material of the Solo Loop? It could simply be that I haven’t gotten a new one in a one 2 years. But I got a S10 with a black solo loop and it feels different than my 3 other solo loops.

Kind of hard to describe but it feels much more supple and more stretchy. Like it’s somehow made of lighter material.

2 of my 3 older Solo loops have developed tears over time. My Product Red one is really bad. But the way the new band feels I wonder if they might last longer.

I felt like Apple all but abandoned the Solo loop till now.

It’s the perfect place.

The new solo loops feel really good, I agree. But I think it’s just been that long since youve felt one with a fresh UV coating. Could be they’ve enhanced it a little, but all solo loops are all pretty uniform imo.

I have a modern buckle band from that time. I also ❤️ the rose azalee Hermes bands despite their high price.
Yessss I love my lilac MB.

And just like with the equateur tatiuage, I managed to squeeze blood from the stone of a random couture resale site to find Rose Azalee from two springs ago. I feel like I’ve barely seen them available on eBay. It’s perfect pink.

Would new Nike red/blue sport loop go well with the Jet Black? I got Ink sport loop with it and that looks good and classy. Occasionally I want a bit more color and contrast so I am eyeing those Nike ones.

This post is just for fans of Ultra bands…

Went to the Apple Store this past weekend. Knowing Apple product photography is anywhere from slightly to wildly inaccurate, I wanted to see each band for myself. Here are my thoughts:

Alpine Loops
These are my all-time favorite Watch Bands, so I was most excited to see these. I wore my OG Green Alpine Loop to the store because I wanted to compare it the new Dark Green. The new band is the “dark mode” version of the original. It’s very nice but will be a low priority for me personally due to its similarity.

Navy surprised me and became my instant favorite from this year’s set. It’s a totally different band than last year’s awesome Blue which was “washed out” like blue jeans (h/t @athousandbands). This year’s Navy is heavily saturated in contrast, making the band much darker overall and there is a subtle yet noticeable contrast to the slightly brighter loops which creates a nice “pop” in color which really makes the band for me.

Tan is 2nd place for me, but still a winner. The loops really have a pleasant maize color while the band itself is more desaturated than in Apple’s photos. The Dark Green feels specifically made for the black Ultra; Tan actually feels more aimed at Ultras with natural titanium cases.

Trail Loops
The easy winner here is Blue – possibly even the best of all of this year’s Ultra bands. Mind you, it’s actually using the same 2 shades of blue as the Navy Alpine Loop, so this should also be called Navy but isn’t because reasons. Anyway, the brighter, more royal rails + tab really come to life against the dark body which has tiny pink dots on the patterned side which shifts the navy, er, “blue” body ever so slightly towards purple. Great band!

I don’t have much to say about Green or Black. Black is relatively similar to the OG Black/Gray, but it is definitely nice to have a darker, true black option. Green is honestly fairly dull. The shade of green doesn’t have the “forest” quality of the Dark Green Alpine Loop and is not an exciting shade of green at all.

Ocean Bands & Milanese Loops
As for the Oceans, Navy and Black are fairly close to each other and really aren’t exciting at all. However, they are utilitarian as they pair naively with the black Ultra case. Ice Blue is slightly more saturated than Apple’s product photography and is a very cool color. It’s particularly nice with contrasting black titanium hardware.

I really don’t have anything to say about the Milanese Loops that others haven’t already said. They’re surprisingly light and comfortable and look better than I thought they would with the Ultra.

Hope something here is helpful to someone!
