Looks like the apple store across the street from me has one or two 40mm hyper grape loops in stock. Ill probably grab a spare and let it sit on the shelf to accumulate some value..

They act the same way the phone cases do on the corners. They come out of the factory with like a soft finish on them that wears out with use, I guess their is no way to get them back to the same condition as they were new, but you can get stains out at least with a magic eraser.

Who’s them? What do I gain from telling you a lie?I just got back from buying both sizes from the same store. You could have asked nicely and I would of narrowed the search for you to the store. Since I am nice Ill give you a hint though. The store starts with a B.

Haha ok you’re right I’m sorry. I’ve just been looking for that band for a long time I can’t believe they’ll actually have it now. But let me guess. Is it near Baytown?? Bestbuy?

Yea I get this. I called the baybrook store and they said they didn’t have it. He even told me no stores in Texas have it lmao

Well i called before lunch and they said they had them, so for my lunch break I went to get a 40mm and a 44mm. They had a few more behind the ones I grabbed. Idk what to tell you..

thats crazy. ive seen it out of stock for like weeks tho. its like a one hour drive from where i live. i dont want to drive all the way over there and its not there

Does anyone happen to have a photo of the hyper grape with the gold ss? I'm curious to see what this combination looks like.
 
Just picked up a ultra violet band on eBay with original packaging for $29. Does anyone know the value of these? 38mm

it seems like the 38mm variants are rarely as valuable as the 42mm- but I imagine you could still get at least face value for the ultraviolet, likely more- but I wouldn’t expect it to go for as much as the larger size.

I have definitely noticed this trend, i’m assuming its because 42mm is much more common? I personally like the smaller 40mm on my wrist as a guy!!

From looking through r/AppleWatch, I think a lot of people (primarily guys from the postings) just want the biggest baddest computer on their wrist. Especially early on, there were a lot of recommendations to get the bigger one because it had a bigger screen and really no other reasoning. That and the whole “the 42mm is for men, the 38mm is for women”

I've noticed the same mindset as well. Men thinking that because they're men, they need the bigger, more "masculine" 42mm, when in reality, the 40 mm would've suited them very well.
