Never saw that one so difficult to comment. But it has a nice matte finish. Not really black though, more a very dark grey.
The black leather classic buckle with black lugs and black buckle. I'm surprised it's not even on OP's list.
Seems like the original 2015 black leather loop was way more dark and deep black color, than this modern 44mm oneNew black leather loop.
Are the leather loops that comfortable? When I’ve picked them up to feel they feel really hard to stiff. Maybe they are different on the wrist?
ive been looking for a leather band that I can use to dress up the watch a bit and miss the classic buckle.

I've been wondering the same thing and about the size difference between M & L. Guess I'll have to go to the store & try them out.
Are the new ones really not in the store yet for purchase?
Ok my final thought on the aubergine after taking it out in the sun for the first time today is that yes it is a little more copper/blush/rose than the S4 gold stainless. But really only when you look at it from the leather/lug sides. So does this mean they updated the Milanese too?
I think they're very comfortable. They are a bit stiff but the way it wraps around the wrist is really comfortable, at least to me.
If you're looking for any leather, including NON Apple bands, give FFF bands a look. They are maybe one of the most comfortable bands I own, including Sport Loops.

I also determined dark gray from the titanium looks exactly like the grey released in 2017. And the light grey is 100% Fog. Lol!

Hey guys, two questions. Can anyone point me in the direction on where to get the Apple cobalt blue sport band 44mm? I have a S5 SB SS and I like that color combo. Also, does anyone have a pic of new yellow leather band with space black stainless steel, forgive me I forget the name of the color. This is my first stainless steel Apple Watch, I’ve had the aluminum for the S3 and S4. I’m so happy I went with it too, the space black is absolutely beautiful!
Cobalt blue is the rarest solid blue sport band apple has made. I got lucky and got one on eBay for $80 after searching for months.

Man you guys are great, thank you for the quick replies. Love how the yellow looks against the space black, that will have to be next on my list. I have the same band but in black coming in, Apple says it should be here 10/4-10/11. I hope it ships soon, I’m excited to see how it looks and feels. It’s the most I’ve spent on a band. Being I spent a little more for the stainless steel I figured I’d upgrade on a nice band too.
I don’t have a photo handy but there is definitely a subtle difference in the color of the Dark Olive versus the Grey Sport Band. In bright light, Dark Olive has an ever so slight hint of brown-dark green to it (in addition to the Stainless pin). For how hard it is to get, the color is actually quite disappointing - it’s hardly “Olive”
If you search this forum, a member posted outdoor comparison photos several years ago. I found them extremely handy when I was initially comparing Grey to Dark Olive to Cocoa.
Olive band had only silver pin, grey had only space grey pin.
And yes, olive has a very slight green tint comparing to the grey band, so they are different after all. However Dark Olive band is waaay more rare than the grey one, so you did a nice find!
You could also look for a Blue Horizon sport band. Pretty similar to Cobalt and less rare, I think.
Does anyone know if Apple has a band that would match the midnight green pro max? Or is the closest the pine green? I’m really thinking about getting pine green because it goes very nicely with space black.
Pacific Green was so dark it would nicely match the dark stainless sides of the Midnight Green iPhones. But I personally would go with Pine Green, I have the Apple silicon case in that colour, and although it’s a little lighter, it looks very nice on the Midnight Green 11 Pro.
