Wow I need that band, just stinks the shipping is sooo sooo backordered, looks like early December. I guess my black leather will have to do for now.

just stinks even more tbh that if you have a 40mm Watch, you don’t even have the option of buying it. :(

Which watch have you got the band attached to? Is that the Space Black SS?

I’m pretty sure it was the Space Grey Aluminium

does apple sell older bands on a different page? when i go to Watch>Bands i just see the new ones. If not, are there any other sties that sell older genuine brand new apple sport bands?

I think spruce fog matches pretty good, from top: storm gray, cargo khaki, spruce fog and midnight fog:

Great comparison! Do you have green/grey Sport Bands to do the same comparison with?

Apple sells all available bands. Sometimes they have stock of past versions available, those will be listed with the latest. For past bands, you'll have to either look at the 2nd hand market or retailers who have new old stock.

Midnight Blue sport loop on S4 SG

I love this one, but I think I'll be returning it for a new one because of the defect seen near the hard plastic part. I think this is my first defective band.

Ha! That is interesting. I returned mine because of a defect in the plastic as well. Are you referring to the plastic part where it connects to the watch?

The buy/sell forums on this site, or eBay, or the /r/AppleBandMarket subreddit. This last can be particularly lucrative, with people sometimes selling new-in-box bands that they bought "just in case". eBay is, per usual, caveat emptor - plenty of knock-off bands there where it's hard to separate the genuine new-old-stock bands from the knockoffs (especially when the latter "reuse" Apple's official photos rather than pics of what they're selling).

As StaggerLee said, Apple sells what they have in stock, but when they run out, they often don't make more of that color, and many of their colors are "seasonal", which means beyond 3-4 months they're gone forever. It's worth hitting up the 3rd party retailers - ones like BestBuy, Target, Walmart, B&H Photo Video - to see if they have any inventory. Occasionally they even put "discontinued" models/colors on sale.

i have a question about two bands

Crimson/Black Nike + Sport Loop - i've been hearing that the color in this one is similar to Electric Pink and Hibiscus is this true? (if so I need to cop)

Clementine Sport Band - Is this one on a peachy side?

So I'm kinda new to this, but looks like a Walmart store is selling a demo strap?

Anyone have a guess if this would be a sport band or sport loop? I'm guessing it wouldn't really have a warranty?

As I’m sure all of you would, I wish Apple sold their older watch bands 🤧! I never knew how many beautiful discontinued bands/colors. I only realized this when I saw this thread, I’m really starting to get obsessed with collecting lol.

thats how it started with me....all with the curiosity "i wonder what bands apple has released in the past" googled and found this thread and well now im over 40 bands deep

I think I finally broke the 100 count for OEM Apple bands...anywho, is there still any interest in a creation of an app or google sheet of the full collection? I would absolutely consider paying to have an app made if anyone has any experience.

Also did anyone else notice that this batch of Nike bands, the ‘swoosh’ no longer has the plus (+) to the bottom right of it??

Haha I’d be curious if the UPCs are the same and they actually sell it. I believe it’s the regular sport band.

Same here. Ultraviolet and Gamma Blue are my unicorns.

Is it true that newer black sport bands are not as dark as the 1st gen one?

You are correct. If you want a deep, truly black sport band, buy one of the old 38 or 42mm ones that fit Series 3 and below (eg. from eBay)
