As my collection of sport bands grows I have learnt from mistakes along the way, as well as appreciating the Super subtle differences between each colour release. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has realised eBay items are so often wrongly labeled (probably unintentionally) not only inventing names such as ‘coral’ or ‘bright blue’ for sport bands, but worse still suggesting a unicornlike rarity which turns out to be something else! Photos are misleading, reused, stock or flash photographed to obscure the true identity and all those boxless orphans will have their origins forgotten over time! At last I managed to get a real sky blue in the smaller size, but not before buying a couple of extra
mist blue, lilac and turquoise along the way! In the UK there are, perhaps, only two eBay multiple band resellers who get all the names correct on eBay. A little browse through their other items quickly reveals their expertise, although they are not cheap. The hunt for extreme bargains means I’ll always take a few risks on other listings from time to time!

@sananda could you probably help me, as you're in London?
And all of you too, guys?..

I suddenly found out that I lost my beloved Smokey Mauve sport Loop... If some of you have double or living in area with many Apple Stores, which could have some old stock - please let me know. I am wearing 44mm one, and do have shipping address in US and Germany.

Would be grateful for your help, guys!

Nike was JUST selling those last week for $38, i checked again and theyre all gone

I tried on the Meyer lemon leather loop with my stainless steel watch today. I’m tempted to get it but I wonder how the colour will age.

I have the Meyer Lemon loop. Had it for a few weeks now and wear it 4 times a week. Looks as fresh as when it came out of the box. I put a little leather cream on it once a week to keep it subtle. Its a fantastic colour and goes really well with the Meyer Lemon iPhone 11 Pro max case

Leather cream - good to know.

I wouldn't say the time means anything in this sense. Can you find Dragon Fruit sport band anywhere? It is just 4 months old band, but it is so rare!
I find the recently discontinued bands rare too. Via UK eBay a 44mm dragon fruit band is either £150 new (boxless) or £110 used with box. Non millionaires and those with slim wrists can only dream. ;-)

Which are the absolute rarest sport bands Would you think? In my experience I’ve never seen a Peach !

Peach came out only a bit longer than a year ago. Not very rare.

How about vintage rose? Ultraviolet? Blue cobalt? Mint?

I actually own a peach and vintage rose. i got both of them for about $30 each! i got lucky to say the least. peach has become one of my gym bands as im not all that crazy about orange

I wish there was some indication on the bands themselves as to which color they are. I was just given some bands that are apple bands (the red one has the product red indication on it) but I have no idea which ones they really are. Light blue, orangish and pinkish are how I describe them.

An imprint on the underside would be nice. The surest way now, is to have the (labeled) box with the unused third part to compare against.

I’m pretty close to having all the blues now ( sport bands) so close comparisons between shades and the referencing of various boxed versions have helped my sleuthing. Accuracy and confidence improves with every new acquisition of course. The array of oranges still seem a way off completion as well as the pinks, ( hibiscus where are you?). But at one stage I even thought I’d never get all the browns and greys sorted out... regularly confused between concrete, stone and pebble.
Yes, a visible code at least on each band would make it so much easier, but in the long run it is fun working out the details while I collect.

Man I’m a band junkie anymore lol. I just ordered the blue horizon sport band and the product red sport loop. I’m still waiting for the saddle brown leather to come in. I can’t believe how much I’ve spent on bands over the last couple of months lol. I’m going to be at an easy 20+ bands I’m sure for some that’s not that much but my collection is building fast!
