I was on the fence about buying Pine Green after seeing pics here. Then I liked it again at the Apple store. Now that I have it I still don’t know if I love it. I have a strict must love to keep band policy now that it has grown out of control.

for me it's a "buy first, return only if i really don't like it" mindset... after missing out on so many band colours the past few years and seeing them all get marked up in ebay haha..

i've returned this season's nike sport bands but kept all the normal sport bands as i now realise i don't like the hole designs on my watch haha..

I can relate to that. By limiting the offer of certain color for a split season, the resell market for genuine Apple sport bands is booming. The other day I saw a used gen1 blue for $100+ on eBay marked as "rare".

Even getting last season's colors can be a pain in the neck and I'm still upset I missed out on the horizon blue. And don't even get me started on that ultraviolet band ...

I’ve concentrated on finding all the earlier sport bands, leaving little money over for new releases. Hopefully filling gaps in the recent seasonal releases from now on. A recent audit counts 49 acquired out of 75 (non Nike) possible sport bands... so I’m reasonably optimistic and have many great options for wearing!

Good job man, that's dedication! Show us your collection when you get there.

It's amazing how 75 bands later Apple still hasn't produced a single decent-looking green sport band - and I'm not talking about "pine green" that's more like dull kind of sea foam color.

I was thinking the same thing looking through my Sport Loops. I own every single Apple and Nike Sport Loop, and don’t have one good green one really. I have plenty of good blue options, along with the other colors, but not green. Maybe this winter we’ll get a good one.

You don‘t know what you just did lol, my skepticism of that seller was keeping my wallet fat. Those rare gold pin/buckle ones are just too good to pass up!
Including the gold and rose gold pins pushes the number of sport bands way way over 75! ( for either size). I decided to limit myself to silver stainless steel, ceramic and space grey pins, does that make me a lightweight ? ;-)

Let me know if you need black/grey ceramic pin 42mm and cloud/white 38mm ones :)

Nice! You’ve got to put up a picture once you’re done. Sounds like an awesome collection.

My band count is getting up there as well. These things can get out of hand easily...

I am very close to having 17 shades of blue ( just Alaskan left to order). I look forward to photographing these together first. Then again, to my eyes marine green and pacific green are also pretty much ‘blues’, ( I already included turquoise and lilac) and of course the mauves ( ultra violet, lavender-grey, lavender) have blue notes. That subtlety is probably why it’s so difficult to stop collecting!

You know, I chose Pine Green when I ordered my new S5 (replacing my S0), and I was prepared to be underwhelmed, but... it's really growing on me - in my top ten and trending upwards. But, yeah, they have yet to do a really good solid forest / kelly / british racing green.

But green has gotten more attention from them than purple - only Ultraviolet so far, and that's really Blurple. Way too blue, not enough red. Can't we get one with red and blue perfectly balanced, as all things should be?

(Actually, the electric purple smoke that Thanos kept getting when using some of the stones would be an awesome band color.)

BRG would be amazing and I would rush to buy a band this color!

Now that you mention it, I can see how purple is another unloved color at Apple. They did have a light violet band but it looked very dull. A Tyrian purple like the Roman elite used to wear would be a fantastic option to have on a sport band.

The pine green isn’t bad. It’s probably one of the best greens Apple’s given us yet, though I’d like to see a Kelly green or an emerald shade.

But I’d LOVE a purple band. In every style and shade possible. The closest thing to purple I own is the lavender gray :(

I’m a purple guy all the way, Ultra Violet was way too heavy for me, even though I knew intellectually it would be a hot band collector wise. I make do with violet dust/plum fog Nike but it’s as sporty as those bands get. Dragon fruit scratches the itch but I can understand how that’s more red-leaning for people.

I also had Ultraviolet but the color was bad. Sell it again.

Have to say I love ultraviolet... and what a stellar season Autumn 2017 was with rose red and blue cobalt released alongside it!

Guys, can anybody compare the new "Dark Grey" and "Light grey" bands, coming with Titanium Watches, with another shades of grey? On photos the Light grey looks ridiculously close to the Concrete, for example...

Having received a sealed delft blue at last the bad news is that the loose ‘horizon’ I already received is revealed certainly to be delft too! One advantage of getting them all is that such mistakes can be corrected I suppose!

The light gray that comes with the natural titanium looks like Pebble or concrete depending on the light. Here its all the way LEFT. Then pebble, then concrete, then fog.

My first deep fusion pic for that second one (I hope). Yes I regret getting Pebble, it looked so much more brown in the hero shots. Before I started getting old bands on eBay and corrected the error with my beloved walnut.
