I was under the impression that if the declared value was over £15 there would be charges but some have been charged and others haven’t so who knows. It just makes me wary when I don’t know whether I’m going to be landed with extra fees.

Hi, anyone has a pic of the new Alaskan Blue Sport Band compared to the other blues? I’m really curious about that beautiful blue palette 😍

I hope the Nike bands are like last year with a November 16th release. Looks like Product Red was out on November 14th
Speaking of which, I'd love to see Nike/Apple do a Product Red Nike Sport Band. No secondary color, just all red. I'd wear the heck out of that.

I don't own an AW but last summer I tried it on a few times at the store. It had the rubbery band (I know it is not rubber but the correct name escapes me at the moment) and I found that this band caused my wrist to sweat. To those who have this band, have you found it to be uncomfortable in hot weather?

Apple calls them "Sport Bands" (there's also a Nike edition, which is perforated with a regular pattern of holes). The name for the material that escapes you is fluoroelastomer.

Personally, I don't have a problem with the Sport Bands in hot weather, and particularly like the Nike Sport Bands under those conditions.

I think the sweat/discomfort is a trade-off for it staying still during workouts and also never absorbing stink too deeply.

The sport loops kinda solve the absorption thing but also have the trade-off of staying secure and leave pretty good/itchy indentations in my skin unless I wear it a little loose, which I don’t love because it looks all puffy on one lug.

The nylon buckle bands (RIP) were both absorbent and attractively slide-y when loose but obviously not part of Apple’s increased focus on teh sportz and/or they simply didn’t sell. I think the leather bands fit the bill for bands to wear stylishly loose but obviously not a material you want getting wet and sweaty.

$13 @ Walmart (except the milanese which was $79):

I sure wish Apple would make hunter or british racing green sport bands...
Yes please! They have done some nice pastel and bright greens, and then... so dark it's almost black. But they seem to skip past the middle of the brightness scale. Unlike blue, which has like 19 choices in all different shades. Green is second only to purple in being unloved by Apple.

Yes unfortunately, but I’m also fairly sensitive to temperatures. I tend to wear the sport loops in hot weather and the sport bands in cooler.
I’ve not had a chance to wear my Nike sport bands in summer, hopefully I can tolerate those better...

It's uncomfortable for me as well, but the Nike sport bands solved the issue for me. They breath much better.
