I ordered in the same minute i heared about it. 5 Minuten bevore 4pm. Delivery on the next Day is possible until 4pm. So my bands now Must be in my town. Last Information is departed Frankfurt at 2 am.

Wow, crazy work day today and just getting to post now at 6:30pm.

One of the best surprises being ahead of the world here in NZ is that occasionally I wake up to something Apple has launched that I wasn't expecting, and I can just buy it. Happened last with AirPods Pro, then again today. My wife has ordered both in 40mm and the Nike in 44mm as a birthday gift for me.

Anyway when I opened the forum at breakfast and saw the first post about them, which was the last post on page something back a few pages ago I thought it was a joke - that sport band! I might buy it in 44mm but never open the packaging, as I really can't see me ever wearing it.

The Nike one though is awesome. I get that it would look good in black also, but I actually think white is better.

i like the white One. I have waited for an interesting white Nike sport Band. My only Nike One is celestial teal.

True enough with respect to the band.

As for the keyboard, you must be exceedingly careful. You would be singing a very different tune though as an Apple technician at a college, where just about every week is spent replacing at least one for a student / employee.

I only had a minor issue with one butterfly keyboard which got a bit sticky around the numbers on the left. That was using it for work every day as well. I spilled a cup of miso in it however . It wasn’t so bad it needed repaired, but the other end of the touch bar failed (only half the Siri icon showed up) and Apple replaced the keyboard and battery as part of that repair. My wife uses it now as I bought a 16”, but she has no issues either.

Of course, now that they’ve worked out splicing colors in Sport Bands, we may see a few other stripe combinations in the future, leading ultimately to a Bond Sports Band (google “bond nato strap” if this is unfamiliar).

(Though I’ve always been fond of “black with one thin red stripe down the middle” and “light blue with a wide orange stripe surrounded by thin black/white stripes”.)

That’s an idea I could get excited about. ‘Gulf racing’ blue and orange would look good, as would lots of stripe combos I think. The wavy edge, of that isn’t avoidable, might limit the chances of it becoming a thing.

I’m in the UK.

I don’t have the Nike edition so I don’t get the dotted watch face, unfortunately.

I’m attaching a photo with the Pride digital face. However, I won’t be using that one, as it becomes too colourful. Also I don’t like the band with the gold watch very much, I guess with space grey or silver would be much better.
