I limited my collection to the sport bands, in my 38mm size, apart from a few desirable others like matching link bracelets, Milanese loops and an obsidian/black Nike band for protection against the Long Night! ;-)I would only assume Apple knew which stores they wanted to open next, and sent stock over to those as well. They plan these things out far in advance, so it’d make sense.

So, what point do you guys consider you’re trying to get to? Owning every single band, owning a specific set of ones you like, or just buying ones you like along the way?
For me, at least, I don’t see a reason to own all of them. Maybe if you already have all but 5, but even then, you’ve spent way too much money getting to that point. Striving to complete a set list is a good approach, but keeping your list consistent without changing it is quite difficult. Personally, I just buy ones I like along the way. I’ve bought many I’d never even consider before if I had a list. I’ve even bought duplicates just because the prices were good. hunting for them is fun, but it has to be in moderation. Otherwise I’d go and buy 30 from chargerstore.
One thing that drives the collection towards completion is the satisfaction of becoming knowledgable about what I buy, as so very many of the used or “open & unworn” bands are inevitably mislabelled on eBay and elsewhere. My sealed boxes bands have each been labelled upon opening, with a mini sticker underneath the pin side, to guarantee I don’t mix them up! It can happen to anyone! It’s very hard to know what you have collected if you don’t research pictures carefully, so the complete chart published in this thread, as well as close scrutinisation of the helpful comparisons from forum members is vital.
