It's annoying when you pay $52.43 for something that's not done right when a $2 knockoff might be working fine.

I wasn't happy with the quality of some loops & returned one at the store...they wouldn't at first but finally did the right thing.

I always keep my eyes open for the sport loop termination (at the lugs) quality. Seen too many cases of it, actually; fortunately only once for myself, though! My online purchase of product red v1 had a terrible case of it, so much so that it looked like it might pop out any moment. Alas, it was (rightfully) swapped on the spot when I took it to a store, after only ~30 seconds of simply showing it to the rep.. so that was good!

I seem to recall seeing your midnight blue 2-tone (PS you know my views on 2-tone, so I won’t get started there!) and the poor termination it had. Did you swap it?

Here are all of them: Pomegranate on the very left, Red Raspberry in the middle (attached to the card), Hibiscus - on the right (a bit lower than other bands).
Thank you so much for this! and wow, pomegranate really is a deep beautiful color. It makes the other two just fade away. welp, decisions, decisions....

I love the new Nike Pride band and it’s my first Nike band. It seems I’m in between holes for sizing and it just isn’t very comfortable. If I put it on one hole it fits great until I tuck the band in, and then it’s too tight. But the next hole out is too loose and I’m afraid it won’t get my heart rate, especially once I get sweaty and it can slide around. Anyone else have this experience? Are there any tips or tricks to make the fit a little better?

They will typically stretch a “little” bit over a week or two. I would say to go tighter when you want and switch if it gets uncomfortable. I wear M/L straps and I’m in the middle position... except for after workouts I have to loosen up a bit. On my more worn bands, I don’t need to adjust ever.

My Nike pride band came in this morning... beautiful.

Are the lugs a super tight fit for anyone else? This is by far the most difficult band to slide in that I own.

Mine slid in ok but I do have some other Apple bands that give me trouble, usually just one strap of the two.

I find I am between holes on sport bands but I usually opt for the looser one, which never is really THAT loose, and it’s never interfered with the heart rate monitoring.

I have that problem on one side of my Midnight Turquoise/Aurora Green. Very unhappy. I fear this will now become the norm as these bands are from a different factory and also a little thinner than the other bands.

Hello all! I’ve been reading all of your post since page 1 recently, and thanks to you all my collection of bands went from 8 to 65 😄, I do not write too much because my English is not very good but for sure is very good to read all of your opinions and tips and to see pictures of the bands... I’m here asking for help if anybody is in England, recently I got into the leather loops and I’m looking for the Sunset and Cornflower (size M) I found the cornflower at the Apple website on England, I’ve a friend coming to US in October, and really would like to buy that band and get it shipped to him in Barcelona, Spain.. thanks! Or if anybody is selling any of this :)
Welcome, and if you read it all then congratulations to you - that must have taken ages.

I’m not sure if I am happy to have helped you grow your collection or sorry to have helped pass on my addiction to you, but my collection grew fairly quickly from around 24 to 74 bands after I found this forum.

Lastly your English is fine - don’t feel you can’t post because of it.

Actually mine are now I think of it. It’s not the only one I have had that with recently, but it might be the first that is like that on both sides. They’ll loosen up over time I expect.
Summer 2020 bands will probably be the last ones that'll say "Made in China"
Are you sure? I understood the purpose is to diversify so they don’t get caught out again if their entire manufacturing base gets shut down for some reason.

Not having all their eggs in one basket as opposed to putting all their eggs in a different basket. It’s a basic Business Continuity Plan and they really should have done it previously, but I guess they didn’t consider losing the whole country of China as a likely scenario.

Weren’t they moving all production of bands to Vietnam? From what I hear, all the new AirPods say Assembled in Vietnam and nobody is getting ones made in China.

Yes, I swapped it in the store.

I was out of the return period so they initially said no. Didn't have time to mail it back.

I was buying a watch & iPhone 11 and they eventually relented.

Eh, better off losing China, morally. I know that doesn’t usually translate in business but hey.

My Navy/Tahoe Blue Woven Nylon came in and I absolutely love it. This is my first one and I’ve never actually tried them before. I will definitely get a couple more of these. Oh and also no dreaded sliding issue like a few people mentioned on here with Series 4 and 5.

A quick Google suggests about 30% of AirPods production is being moved.

I’m pretty sure there’s no intention to move everything out of China, just to diversify into Vietnam, India, maybe others.

Great Comparison shot! I went from wanting a Red Raspberry to needing a Red Raspberry. Added to my watch list.

Going on a vacation here in a few days. What are your guys’ storage solutions for taking multiple bands on vacation? How do you even pick which ones to bring?

this is maybe stressing me out more than it should. 😅

I’ve seen people use some of those roll up Watch band cases, amazon? But hey, wherever you’re going, may it be free from stress 🙏

Back when going to an office every day was a thing, I had a small flat zippered Tom Bihn pouch (5x7”) clipped into my briefcase with half a dozen bands in it just in case I felt like changing during the day. Made the decision of what band in the morning easier, because I knew there was always a handful of backup choices. Usually worked out to one Leather Loop, one Sport Loop, and 3 or 4 Sport (and/or Nike Sport) Bands. Rotated them out every so often. Don’t overthink it too much. When you’re on vacation, your enjoyment of the sights and/or the company will not be substantially improved (or harmed) by a slightly different shade of blue on your wrist. If it feels like it is, you’re paying attention to the wrong things.

Nice shots! It's one of my favourites as well. I vastly prefer the Woven Nylons over the Sport Loops in general. They look more classy to me and feel just as light/comfortable on the wrist.
