Really regretting my Space Gray purchase; it seems like so many bands look better with a silver watch.

I have a SG SS and I think all my bands look great with it. I had the regular SS the first time around and wanted to change it up.

Here are some of my bands:

They do look good with stainless space black, and think aluminium space grey can match up too, it’s still a neutral colour!

Yeah, I regretted my purchase of the original S0 Space Gray sport back in 2015. For that particular color, finding bands that went with it was hard. Truth be told, the gray sport was a starter watch to see how it would work, but I’m so glad I upgraded to a S3 SS last fall. Many more band choices.... in fact, I'm suffering from BAS (Band Acquisition Syndrome)! :D

Is it possible the bands don’t look as nice on the grey sport model compared to SS?

Well, it's really a matter of personal preference, but for me, I would say yes. Others may disagree, and that's fine. For me and the way I wear the watch, the stainless model gives me much more flexibility in band choice, mainly due to color combinations that coordinate with my wardrobe.

Sorry I meant to say gray sport compared to space black stainless steel (which I have. If you scroll up you’ll see some pics I posted with it).

Its a great looking watch, no doubt. However, I just think it’s harder to pair a black or gray watch with a lot of bands. Silver or stainless steel seem to be a lot easier. At least that’s what I’ve found. That said, if you like the looks and it makes you happy, that’s all that matters.

I definitely agree that your more limited with band choices. For example, the leather bands with the stainless steel buckle and brackets don’t look as good. I do find that all of the sport bands look just as good and that’s what I primarily wear. When I upgraded from SS S0 -> S3 a couple of months ago, I got the SB SS so it felt like I was getting something different other than internal improvements. I’ll probably switch back to SS next upgrade although I do like the fact the SS SB’s bezel doesn’t scratch as easily.

i like the ocean blue also than the royal.. i find denim better than royal also... i find it too light in person....
nike obsidian is almost similar to cobalt blue... i find it redundant if u have the nike obsidian...
and no doubt ultraviolet is very unique color....

No, I mean what I have is ocean. But I’d rather have royal.
