Received my dark olive yesterday. I expected it to be more green, depends on the light how the band looks. More grey then olive imo. Maybe the hunt was nicer than the catch :p

Nice... I’m on the hunt for a dark olive sport band in 42mm... mind sharing where you found yours? Was hoping to get one over on r/AppleBandMarket but nothing’s come up yet...

Bought mine last week on ebay. No box and only the s/m band.

Still find my band more grey than olive.... o_OCan somebody place a picture of both colors (dark olive and grey)? And maybe with the cocao? Thanks in advance :)

I remember looking at both in store back in November. I was very confused.

To me they are the two closest colors of any.

I have been looking at your picture and the colors, compare it with my band. My band is just not so green as your dark olive seems to be. When I was searching for the dark olive, I expected it to be like the color in your picture. I edit your photo (hope you don't mind) and this is my result and how my dark olive band looks...

My band is genuine apple.. with all the marks (also serial on the middle button thing... whats by the way, very difficult to see the exact numbers, even with a magnifier..).

Well like i said, maybe the hunt was nicer than the catch... Hopefully apple will release some nice green bands next week.

HNL, what “serial” marking are you talking about? That color is also very off to me...mind you, this photo was taken in sunlight so you can actually see the color of the band; in other light, all three of these bands look similar and that is where Apple confuses me.

Hmm. Very strange. This is my band in sunlight.
The serial is inside the thing (don't know how to call it) in the red circle in my photo. You have to pull it out and use a magnifier to see it, below the 38 mm mark (on the band). On my nike black / volt band its much easier to see than on my other bands.

I’m sorry but I have no idea what you are talking about nor have I ever heard of Apple printing the model number of a band on the connection piece that gets scuffed over time when inserting it into the Apple Watch itself. I have 2 bands which I’ve never worn before and I do not see this on either of them. I have Black/Volt and do not see this anywhere...

A picture from my black volt band. Its very hard to see on the other bands, but its there.
A read about that 'serial' / part number in another tread on this forum.
Don't think that non-apple bands will have such a number.

Okay, update.....after a very difficult time attempting to figure out what you meant, and where the ‘number’ is located on the piece, I believe that’s for the connector itself and has no bearing on the color of the band. That number is different on a few of my bands, but I am more of the belief/opinion that it is for the mechanism in some way, maybe like a patent or model number of that alone. Apple invented that connector for the Apple Watch, yes? Apple has not placed its model numbers on its bands to my knowledge. And please pay no attention to my horrible up close hand photos...

Any pro tips for a lug that doesn't want to lock on a sport band? Just slides right through.

Works perfectly on my SS.

Slides straight through on the 3 aluminum watches we have.
