His videos annoy me so much, I'm not even sure why .

He's just so... you know... self-righteous and everything. He also loves to mention all the stuff he has.

Typical video: "Oh, and I was on my Powerbook when the Powerbook went to sleep randomly. I decided to get on my Xbox for a while, and then went back to my Powerbook and bought some stuff to make my Powerbook better on eBay. On my Powerbook."

Grrr.

he's not that bad, and it really doesn't bother me, I really don't notice it.. But his videos are entertaining and yeah he has a lot of cool stuff, but there's people on here with 10x more.

Oh, don't get me wrong. They are reasonably informative and useful. I don't mind him as a person exactly, but there's something about how he talks that makes me want to close my browser. :p

Yeah, I catch your drift. It can come off a little annoying, but it just really doesn't phase me, but I can see how it might really bother other people.

Sorry if I came off a little b*tchy there. I'm feeling really grumpy this evening. Unfortunately, I often post on forums like these when I'm grumpy to pass the time. :)

Well, I am glad it's accurate. :) I haven't watched his videos in ages, for that reason. The G3 iMac upgrade was OK, I guess.

Well, he's since got a MacPro for christmas (pre-08) and a 23" ACD and iPod nano... he's got tons of cool stuff.

Forgive my idiocy, but how does one make money in the photography business? I never really understood that.

Look at my website! You make money mainly via commissions mine have mainly been with bands so live band work this then leads to promo work with them and they come back again and again.

I have worked with some big bands and companies such as the BBC.

You then also have portraits, weddings (these make you loads because of the stress your under to get perfect photos in a short space of time)

Then galleries etc for cards, prints etc + i sell via my website and redbubble.

Most work come via myspace & word of mouth.

Photography is a lot more than just pushing a button (most people think this is all you have to do)
