Sorry, I should have explained what I have. The Mac is a MacBook 2.4GHz White from early 2008. It's sitting between my 22" Monitor and receiver. May be hard to see as I had the exposure high by accident. The MacBook is driving the 22" from the mini-DVI port, while the 19" is being driven by an eVGA UV PLUS+ UV16 USB to DVI dongle with Beta drivers from DisplayLink. Its a little laggy, but for the work I do its fine. The COSMOS is from my old Vista gaming PC which I no longer use since I switched over to Mac.

Oh, and I'm 18.

Now I see the MacBook

Shake? I don't really have that, I have to REALLY put weight on it to make it move. I've been happy with it. It might not be the exact same desk, this is a corner 3 piece desk I got at Fry's. I just took out the corner piece and put the two ends together. I like it!

Anyways, On the point of kids like 14, 15 having all this stuff? I have a job that pays around $300-400 a week so I buy all my toys like iPods and desk and stuff. On the iMac, I bought my G5 by myself, and was thinking of selling it to get a new one when it went out, so my parents went half in the Intel. :D:D:D

EyeTV for DTT & an Iomega Ultramax 500GB HD hidden behind to minimize the visibility of the mass of cables. No option but cables, I don't really care though.

Loving being able to watch HD movies on the TV whilst web browsing. MacBook can handle 1080p Casino Royale on the Samsung, with Firefox, Transmission, Adium & Time Machine backing up. Love it.

Two questions...what's that clock program, and how's that EyeTV working out for you...I thought about that a short time back seeing it at the Apple Store and debated. I'd love the idea of recording some HD either OTA if that's possible through my antenna.

Anyone else that wants to answer this, great. If you don't wanna cloud up this thread, just PM me. I need to post my setup, this is kinda interesting to see how everyone sets up their workspace.

Final Cut Express 4
Dell Inspiron 8100 "OLDell" Pentium 3, XP Home, more for nostalgia than anything.
Gateway box: Was used as a home server for a week, then it died, trying to revive it.

Hope To Add Soon:
A single 22" or 24" multi-input monitor: Dual monitors was fun, but i'm kind fo tired of it right now. I rarely ever have my mac and gaming PC on at the same time anyway.
Western Digital 1TB external drive: that 100GB is close to full, it's worked well these past 5 years
Canon Vixia HF100: HD is here, time to move on, lol.

It's all a mix. Some gits, some I paid for myself. I rescued the Dell monitor from the trash when my grandma upgraded.
How do I make the pics a thumbnail?

Finally got around to taking some pictures. List mentioned a few posts above.

Nothing special >_> DAMN AUS PRICES. I need a job (just turned 14).

The USB-thing is my EyeTV DTT August '08 edition. Great device =D

And to the person who asked about how EyeTVs are, they're actually really good. The DTT they updated in august this year made it smaller and more efficent. The included antenna isn't very good though, so it's probably best you have a way to plug it in to your roof antenna (if you have one), that way you egt the best picture and as many channels as possible.

Overall though, great device. Only problem for me is the fact that when your iPod is plugged in and charging, EyeTV 3 lags a bit. Hope they fix it :(

Yeah I too have this issue. Don't use the supplied antenna, use a signal booster and re-add cable so it goes through signal booster to the EyeTV device. This works really well for me.
