Nice! Well done for saving up for it, I bet it's a lot more satisfying to save up for it than having your parents buy it -- it sure is for me. Grats again! Great setup too.

(Also posted in the normal thread. :p )

As much as people would call that a small room, i really like it. Simple, organized, seems like i could get alot of work done there.

nice setup too

Thanks. Sadly, us brits don't have as much space as American houses do, so this is as big as I can get. The 3rd bedroom in the room next to mine is even smaller. :(

Thanks it sure does! and thanks again :)

Looks great! Kudos for having the determination to save up for that long! That's something I never could have done at that age.

Thanks to you as-well! It was hard not blowing it all at times on a Playstation 3! (all my friends have one) but i kept my goal in mind and i made it! Now look what i have to show for it!

Hope i have set a positive example for others to follow; keep your goal in mind, work hard and most important don't give up!! :)

William you should get a wireless printer i think, you can get them reasonably cheap now (especially in PCworld).

Really like your setup though.

Kudos to you for saving for that long. I'm 14 now and if I saved my money since I was 11, jeez, I'd have close to 5-6 grand. Only because my grandpa is always giving my sister and I each spending money.

Nice setup Btw.

Everything powered by magic smoke...
...Oh and the laptop... that hideous piece of ugly is not mine. Just a work laptop.
Now this is not a post about "what do you do to afford that," this is a serious question, so don't flame me people.

May I ask, if you don't mind sharing, what job do you have as somebody under 18 that supplies a laptop?

I work at a call center organization and I'm one of the IT people there. Because a call center needs to always be online, there is no problem in having their IT people have laptops and cell phones so they can be reached. :p

I just turned 18 this summer, but I've been working there for two years.
