Out of curiosity, how many people under 18 who have an iPhone actually pay their bill or their portion of the bill? I make decent money and the bill is the one thing about the iPhone that is potentially holding me back. I really can't justify paying $90/month for a phone, for the plan I would want.

Hmm, maybe not go for the iPhone. I was paying my parents the difference in the bill on VZW. I was paying $50 a month for Unlimited Data and 500 Text, for my 8830. But I just signed on with Sprint. 450 Mins, Unlimited Nights and Weekends (7pm), Unlimited Text, Unlimited Data, and all for $69.99. I was going to go for the BlackBerry 8330, but decided to try something different. So I picked up a HTC Touch from NewEgg, for $79.99. Plus you get a $100 rebate, so you make money of the phone. If I don't like it, I will buy a new BlackBerry if they ever release new ones for Sprint. You may have to make some sacrifices. While I think 450 mins is not allot, but when I look at bill for VZW. I may only use 200-300 mins, most of my calls are after 7 or on the weekends. Plus with Nights starting at 9, I should be find.

i dont. i payed for the actual phone. my dad pays the bills

its not really that much more expensive than my old plan with a regular moto phone. it just 30 extra a month for the data. not that bad

I bought the phone, $300 and pay $30/month for the data service, so everything for the iPhone. I think if you have the money, go for it, if you don't, its not Mommy & Daddy's problem.

I payed for the entirety of my iPhone 16gb... I bought the hardware - $379 (after set-up fees and tax) and I pay for the bill every month - $80 (with unlimited text messaging).

I've owned many phones through the years, and I'll have to say the iPhone 3G is THE BEST phone that I've ever used. There are now a lot of copy-cats out there but I don't think anyone will ever beat the iPhone. I'm preaching to the choir, i know... But my point is, if you have the money: Go for it. :apple:

i realize you're post was over a year ago, but TV, Macbook, and a 360 as input no that monitor? woooo!

I've upgraded since then. I now have a Planar 26" (PX2611W) monitor and use it with my Hackintosh, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. I ditched the cable box.

Sorry for the bad picture quality, but this is what you get with an iPhone and low light.

in my "if i could get a mac" dreams, that's exxxacctly how i would set that up, it's so simple. right now my desk drives me insane, minor ocd?! i think so.

p.s. i got really bored last night so i downloaded a couple visual effects to make my PC look Mac-ish. it will do for now:rolleyes:

26"s seem quite rare for monitors, or is it a tv?
What resolution does it get? Most monitors i've seen larger than a 24 get the same res as a 24", with the exception of 30" displays.

yeah its great except for some reason it wont share its airport connection with the XBOX through the ethernet. ive set it up exactly right(ive checked 9 times) so im trying to set up an old linksys wrt54g as a wireless access point but its not working either so ive got a real head ache right now!

to be honest i don't know what the function of Airport is, though i've seen it mentioned on this site hundreds of times...so i can't really help with that. i use the 360 Wireless Adapter which is insanely overpriced, i find that it lags too much to be worth $100. what's your highest skill in Halo 3?
