to be honest i don't know what the function of Airport is, though i've seen it mentioned on this site hundreds of times...so i can't really help with that. i use the 360 Wireless Adapter which is insanely overpriced, i find that it lags too much to be worth $100. what's your highest skill in Halo 3?

14 but thats cuz i dont play ranked mostly because me and my friends have large partys (7-8 people) when i play ranked with my friend that is a level 35 i have almost always had more kills than him and less deaths. so really im like a 35 but im actually a 14. i stole my friends wireless adapter for a few days and it sucked!!!

haha it's funny you get more kills than your friend. but yeahhh the Wireless Adapter sucks, i have my 360 near my computer which runs off of a Wireless Adapter and i always have to shut off my Touch and unplug my wifi to my computer to make the lag go away on my 360..pretty ridic!

You're looking at:
Aluminum Macbook, iPhone 3G, 23" Apple Cinema Display, Hack Pro (4ghz, 8GB RAM, about 1TB HD, 8800GT 512mb), Mission M71i monitors connected to a Yamaha HTR6030 5.1 receiver.

Taken with the Canon 5D. Tried a different angle than usual.

that's a nice looking display, what do you mean you qualify for the thread for two more days?

I'd bet he turns 19 in 2 more days.

You guys got it.

26"s seem quite rare for monitors, or is it a tv?
What resolution does it get? Most monitors i've seen larger than a 24 get the same res as a 24", with the exception of 30" displays.

It's 1920x1200 like the 24". Everything is just slightly larger, there's no quality loss or anything. Color is better than the dell's and has a much lower input lag, making it ideal for both photos and gaming. Loving it, extremely vibrant.

yeah its great except for some reason it wont share its airport connection with the XBOX through the ethernet. ive set it up exactly right(ive checked 9 times) so im trying to set up an old linksys wrt54g as a wireless access point but its not working either so ive got a real head ache right now!

I know this isn't the right thread, but how to set the NAT to be open? I have my 360 hardwired to my Airport Express, but my NAT is strict and I can't change it. It interferes with my matchmaking. I started a thread on this a while back, but haven't gotten any responses: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/599468/

Thanks!

IMO it looks better closed. I like the little guy, but I'm not enamored. The big black bezel and fingerprint magnet screen don't do it for me, and I'm not a fan of the keyboard color scheme.

Oh well, its still a great comp. You'll notice its not plugged in because it docks on the other side of the room... it gets 6 hours of battery use a day.

Literally just out the box,
How do I use the led display as the main monitor instead of the macbook?
All i can seem to do atm is mirror.
Thanks , 17 btw!

If I'm correct, just drag the "white toolbar" atop of the "small screen" (MacBook's) to the "big screen" (LED Cinema) (they're little blue squares representing each screen within sys. prefs.) when in System Preferences>Displays>Arrangement (it's a tab). Hope this helped.

You're welcome ;) Glad I could help.

BTW, how is that beast performing? saw one at the Apple store yesterday and it looked amazing, kinda pricey for me (I can't justify an $899 display :p) but looked effin cool.

Victor

It´s a good thing they dont, it sucks, well it works quite well but the built quality is horrible.

I've always found it to be great. I move it around a lot and take it to friends houses and such and it's fine. It just makes a loud noise when TM is backing up.
