Honestly, why is it a big deal? He has one, and it shouldn't matter what he uses it for.

We're just curious. not many 14 yearolds would be using such an expensive computer for MSN and listening to mp3s. i for one am curious. cuz at the age of 16, i use my g3 700 mhz imac for everything i could think of

That TV bench looks like the Ikea one but the Ikea one doesn't have those metal rods there.
What bench is that? I found the Ikea one way too low for a 42" LCD HD while sitting on the couch. I found myself looking down.

It actually is the ikea bench u're thinking of .. it's just that ikea's picture has the two rods in the back, where as the setup posted has it on the front.
have a closer look in this pic

Satisfied. haha tho i still think even a mini would be sufficient.

Ha try our school. Nothing like running xp on a pentium 2 with 64mb of ram :p

Try XP Pro SP2 on a Pentium S with 32 mb of RAM. NOT impressive!

a mini would definently not be efficient because I need all that RAM and HD space It can't edit HD content and I need fast rendering speeds

Wow, my school hs mostly P4 desktops, and a few PDs(which had Vista but they replaced it with XP :) ) And some Core Duo laptops(I think, not sure)

And still we're going to have to do massive update for Vista. Most likely we'll get new computers(my school final has began renting them from Dell, after buying them for years, they'd buy them for 2 3 years, and then buying new one), or not use Vista for a whilw

My schools got P4Hts :)

My school has a mixture of Core2Duos, and Pentium 4s, all Vista ready :(

I was referring to my first proper computer. It was an upgrade of the very first one I got, 8 MHz, 4 MB of RAM I think and a 56 mb HDD :D
