iMac G5 20" 1GB 250GB BT M&KB iPod photo 30GB

All paid for by me, with my hard earned $9.00 AUD per hour...

Next purchases; new desk (badly need), BT MightyMouse :D.

This pic was taken the day I got it; so not shown: Sony Ericsson P900 and more mess.

I love that Pink Floyd poster!!! And way to go, I <3 Maxim.

Whoo Hoo! I got a job, how strange now that were talking about the job.

My friends mom owns a consignment shop in town and she wants me to set up an eBay account and sell her "high end" items.

I don't know how lucrative selling clothes on eBay are since there are like 3000000000000000 pairs of jeans for sale and 98000000000000 purses for sale. But I'm getting paid to do it, I don't know how much yet but they're pretty wealthy people. The so the ladies kid (my friend) has his own High-Preformance John Deere Gator 4x4 Diesel with a cab and plow (costing something like $16,000). He has his own little lawn mowing service so he also has some fancy zero-turning lawn mower. He apparently has makes a lot of his money but he only paid for the plow on his gator.

I have that background up now. I know it's just a Mac background, but my classmates were so impressed with the clarity of the pic when I was doing a presentation one day.

What can I say, I'm a big BMW and Apple fan. :p

I have a Mac mini to use with the Cinema Display when I'm not using it with my PowerBook.

And of course, the Xserve.

I'm 17 by the way. As opposed to the majority of people my age, I do appreciate what I have. ;)

Wow! That's some serious networking gear!

If you don't mind me asking, what do you use the Xserve for?

For personal use, or providing a service?

I'm providing a service for certain businesses (mostly point-of-sale to main office communication), but not a public service. What I mean is, I wouldn't provide the service to someone I didn't know.

I see. Well, that definately justifies the Xserve! :)

Good luck with your business. Looks like it's going pretty well.

#1) It's amazing how quickly this thread is growing.
#2) It's amazing how far more talented you kids are than most of the ones I've seen around this area.
#3) When I was younger, I mowed lawns to make $20; that $20 went to the bank. At the end of the year, I made about 5 cents in interest. $20.05 does not pay for a Mac.
#4) I still love ham_man's setup.
