i take after you mac guys with your setups.. nice and simple.

Try placing those Logitech speakers outward a little, to make a wider and less strained, or focused sound-stage. Also, I noticed you got one of the new AMD 64 Dells, how do you like it? I also like how you covered up the ms crap on the kb, n1!!!!1one!1

Peace

yeah i jsut got it a week ago and so far so good with it.. 2gb of ram is handling things well and yeah ill try that with the speakers. haha yeah i got bored one day so i just started doin stuff with sharpies my mouse says fucsoft

I vote Desk #2 because of the wood. That type of wood really makes any type of Apple computer look amazing.

Does your desk feel flimsy? The one thats identical to that thats about 100 dollars feels like it could fall over any minute. >.>' And it was tightened perfectly. The 150 version of it feels like its rock solid.

You do realize you have a HARD DRIVE (sensitive to magnets and vibrations) on top of a SUBWOOFER (strong magnetic field and makes vibrations)...

OMG that is like the 839589438259843th time someone has said that. Most subwoofers are magnetically shielded and the vibrations probably aren't strong enough to damage it.

The power supplies aren't magnetically shielded though. My creative is 'magnetically shielded, well, the drive cone is. Nothing else is though and I couldn't get it within 3 feet of my CRT TV when I had it.

The vibrations as it happens are strong enough. If you've ever seen the inside of a hard drive, and seen how delicate the read/write heads are, you would be amazed they can even get something like that to work in an iPod...

I just rearranged my setup. Got rid of CRT monitor, cleaned up desk, organized CDs and I also changed the place of my MBP to where the CRT used to sit. Still need to get new wireless keyboard and mouse and I'm hoping to get a nice dell 20" widescreen within a couple months.
