Dude, it's called parents and keeps you from doing fun stuff. Especially when there's "people" around, like in the living room.

just my opinion. plus, having a mini fridge & TV might keep one cooped up in their room all the time or something.

Yea, you might have a mini-fridge but I presume none of you have an all-in-one toilet-sink-water fountain in your cell.. I mean room. :p

For you gullible people out there, I am only kidding

whoah! what is that photo of?

I believe it is a jail cell. You definitely don't want to be there even if you have a toilet and such in the room.

I had a mini fridge in my room growing up. all it did was make me fat. Once it was gone, life got a bit easier.

The rule in this forum is that if you ever see anything that you like (furniture-wise), don't ask, because it's from IKEA.

"Casual luxury." :apple:

I am sixteen.

The theme is suppose to be casual meets minimal meets traditional-modern -- without breaking the bank.

Total room budget: 300 U$D. Minus the computer.

Either you all have maids or you're not really a normal teenager. None of the people I know have such tidy rooms like these. The only thing that is common is our mothers yelling at us about cleaning the room. I doubt any of you have ever heard that from your mother.

Hah! My mom knows the "tidiness" potential of my room. So if I flake off every once in a while, or some exposed wires (God forbid), I will be scolded to clean my room.

Bed -- must be made. Dust -- must be wiped down. Articles -- must be in their proper places.

It is not so much as to strict, as to a personal preference. When I am told to clean my room, it actually *never* enforced.

Do you carry all that in your pockets at once?!

lol. I actually do, and more. Hah! You are forgetting the Purrell to keep my hands sanitised, The bluetooth hands-free headset for the phone, and occassionally a digital camera. My various pockets are huge!

I don't actually carry two iPods. The fourth generation is for home/gym, and the Mini is for the gym/commuting.

Gosh, I need to clean my room...there are DVD box everywhere, tons of wires, half empty(or full) water bottles, glasses, unmade bed, dirty clothes...even a pack of cashews. And lots of socks under my desk.

I'll post some before and after pictures when its clean up

Methinks your iMac is in a dangerous location.

I'd move it to the other corner... Knowing me, I'd knock it off the desk! *ouch*

My room circa 2004. My mom is a designer thus the pro picture. I am at college now - various pictures of my dorm have been posted in post your desk thread. Once I'm back home in the middle of May, I'll take new pictures of my slightly updated room (and computer) and then following, in August I am moving into my new house with some friends down in California and I'll post some pictures of the entire place
