Nice room Nooster. Where did you get those two black shelfs over your bed? I've been looking for those exact same ones but can't find them anywhere.

I'm calling the cops
My room circa 2004. My mom is a designer thus the pro picture. I am at college now - various pictures of my dorm have been posted in post your desk thread. Once I'm back home in the middle of May, I'll take new pictures of my slightly updated room (and computer) and then following, in August I am moving into my new house with some friends down in California and I'll post some pictures of the entire place

If she's a designer where's her mac?!?! I'm just kidding. Amazing room there.

I'm at college right now so my room's a little tight on space. I try to fit in everything I can though ;)

I actually got the shelves at Bed Bath and Beyond for about 25 U$D each. They might be out of commission now, but they are branded with the name Vertigo shelves.

As for tips, I can't say much. Simply make your own accessories, and use what you have. Instead of buying a 50 U$D Candle Hurricane from Pottery Barn, buy the glass, and sand, and candle separately from Michaels for only $10 U$D Total. Instead of buying artificial silk palm plant for 200 U$D, buy a real living Palm tree for 12 U$D at Home Depot.

I know I've been asked to keep my picture posting to a minimum...

...but here's just one pic to contribute to the thread. :p

My room :)

And if anyone wants to comment on the curtains - I'm moving soon. They'll be gone. And it's not like I like them either, my mom keeps insisting we're moving soon so she's not gonna change them

Shame about the curtains, the rest of your setup looks great!

PS: Does your name suggest you overclock your iMac? If so, how did you manage that feat?

This is my room. It was supposed to be the guest bedroom but it ended up being my sisters and then mine when she went off to college. It's pretty big, nice big closet, my parents kinda cheaped out on the bathroom though. Its not bad but not as nice as my old bathroom. Who cares though, I have my own bathroom lol. Some people think its too adult like, I happen to agree.

I want to buy some new furniture so it all matches better. I really want to get rid of that white thing that was my sisters but my parents refuse to let me move it "because there is nowhere to put it". IMO it can go in the trash or in our 2000sq ft basement that has plenty of room.
