They will be edge to edge displays without a Jack. and there is a protype, and A10 specs, and no headphone jack. Will the design leave Apple in the dust? Cheaper Apple 10R Competor rumored and a 5.8 and 6.2, and no Bezel

If this device is released in March 2019, it could pose a serious threat to Apple's core business.
As Apple has set FaceID as their primary security feature for its mobile devices, they'll have to cope with the notch at least until 2020 I suppose. Combined with the outdated looking yet extremely well functioning iOS, iPhones will simply look antiquated in comparison to this Samsung device.

Besides, Samsung has become extremely intelligent in utilizing their hardware advantages concerning display technology. Not to forget their latest efforts in improving the software on their devices...

Gone are the days when Samsung copied Apple.. They lead by example in hardware design now...

OTOH, they don't have iOS!

They might not have iOS, but they are definitely catching up software wise. If you look at the newest tests of the new Note, they almost got rid of almost all tethering troubles concerning stability.

Ecosystem and brand familiarity is Apple's core business. Nobody cares about the notch anymore.

I mean, it's nice hardware but the camera right in the middle of the screen is ridiculous (far more ridiculous than the notch) and it still runs Android.

Not sure a black wart or two on the screen is better than a notch...

Worse in my opinion. I’ve stated before I like the X design... even the notch. The dots would just be in the way of things, especially videos. There’s no way to work around it like Apple does with the notch.

Oh i don't doubt it... The thing with Android is that your are never sure what data is harvested from your phone
This must be the Apple selling slogan.

I never heard of anyone on Android ever have any real life issues using an Android.

I trust my Social Security number with Android before Experian.

Heck the other day someone had a screenshot of someone else via iCloud having their Apple ID and password .

This Android and China spyware crap is just fear-mongering.

S10 => Ugly and slow version of Android => Google => Not for me

But, yeah, spec wise sounds good.

And in the end iPhone is still superior. Why? The customer service. Had an s8+. Never again. Charging port became so loose after 4 months the cable would just fall out of it. They would of swapped it out on warranty for free...but I would of had to go without a phone for “2 To 3 weeks”.

I can't believe i'm actually reading comments saying the infinity O design is worse then the notch. Only on Mac Rumours...If the pages were turned I could only imagine the stark difference in comments here.

Err, no it will be running One UI. If you actually bothered to look you would see its actually a very smart move by Samsung moving everything down on the screen that you interact with making large phone use easier. Its a very clean looking UI actually.

Good point about Experian!

But Google's data collection habits are well documented - Just google it and you will find reports every day of the week :)

Samsung phones are no longer slow and laggy if you have been paying attention. Note 9 was very smooth to me. If anything, I was disappointed in google pixel 3's RAM management performance compared to other top android phones.
