Lol, that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever mate. As I understand it Bluetooth standards and the technology in general are managed by Bluetooth SIG, a completely separate entity that has all sorts of companies/organizations like Samsung that contribute to the development of the technology, they have teams setup for it already and have set budgets etc... Set aside for it.
.
From Wikipedia:

These members are the most active in the SIG and have considerable influence over both the strategic and technological directions of Bluetooth as a whole.

As someone who plans to keep my phone for 3 years, I like that my iPhone X still feels like a brand new phone. To me the main advantage of the performance is future-proofing the phone.

I'm sorry, but future proofing and Apple do not belong in the same sentence. Apple and planned obsolescence are pretty much what has been known for years. And the multiple class action lawsuits prove that. That being said, you want future proofing, don't look at the CPU first, as current CPUs are plenty powerful and efficient, look first towards getting more RAM and and more base storage. Something Apple will only do, when they start losing sales. Sorta like how they increased screen size only when they saw their customers moving towards bigger screen Android phones.

My 2011 MacBook Pro runs fine, as does my 2013 iMac.

I kept my iPhone 6 for three years, and only updated to X last year for Face ID and the bezel-free design.

Fortunately, I haven't been plagued by other people's conspiracy theories.

Well then, we should shut down all the class action lawsuits regarding anything Apple, tell everyone in the iphone forum having issues "they're holding it wrong," and call it a day.

It will not leave Apple in the dust. There are die hard Apple fans that will purchase Apple products no matter what other mfg make. I love my Samsung S8+ and will buy the S10+ 5G when it comes out. Jacksonville FL is slated to be up and running with 5G this month.

I'm not saying people don't have issues, but Apple is one of the better companies at dealing with problems when they come up.

Are they perfect? No, but Apple sold 218 million iPhones last year. Even if 99% of them were perfect, that would still mean there were over 2 million defective iPhones sold last year.

Regarding people in the forums, I notice most of the loudest complaints cone from people who don't even own the products in question, but just want to jump on the bandwagon of Apple bashing and half-witted conspiracies.

Really? Let's not forget millions upon millions bought new iPhones because their phone was intentionally being slowed down by Apple. Nowhere did Apple tell anyone they needed a new battery. And only now does Apple give you the option to turn that off. You don't in the least find that corrupt? This is supposed to be a company that it's diehards take pride in calling ethical. Then there's touch disease and bendgate. Apple did nothing when they knew well before the complaints these issues existed. Their customers had to take legal action, and even then they had to pay for a fix. It goes on and on.

So point to the threads in the iPhone forum where people without iPhones are complaining so loudly.

iPhones with batteries above a certain number of charge cycles were shutting down unexpectedly, and Apple issued an update to prevent that from happening.

If it was planned obsolesce, they just wouldn't have issued the update and let the phones keep shutting down unexpectedly. People would have replaced them sooner.

Thank you for your non-answer and deflection.

You also didn't address that Apple had to be sued to give the option of turning that feature off. Why wasn't this even offered to begin with? Why did they have to be taken to court over this? Why did they not tell people who complained their phones were getting so slow they gave up and bought new iPhones, that all they needed was a new battery? Millions upon millions are victim to this. Again, why did Apple not just tell those customers, you just need a new battery? You find this ethicle? Answer that directly please.

I also would like an answer to their handling of bendgate and touch disease. You find it ethical to charge people to fix a defect that Apple themselves is responsible for? Answer directly please.

When you say Apple is "...one of the better companies at dealing with problems when they come up." Be ready answer questions that show otherwise.

Again no answer. Exactly what happens when anyone gets pressed with direct questions about Apple being this ethical company with premium quality products to justify their premium price. Thanks for proving my point. Apple is not the same company it once was. Those years are long gone, and it's been like that for years. And your constant deflection proves you know it as well. Thanks for coming out. Now let's get back on topic of the bone crushing, world dominating tech by Samsung. The foldable display.

Have proof for this, or are you just repeating some internet meme you may have heard.

It's hard for me to deal with angry hypotheticals. I would like to discuss the specifics of your situation to see if we can find a resolution.

This thread is about Galaxy S10. Stay on topic. Welcome to the future of bone crushing tech dominance that is Samsung. But as I always say, Samsung's world dominating tech innovation is everyone's gain. The whole industry. Fact.

Then I believe you should stay in tooic as well. Bringing up and responding to the iphone comments was as off topic as can be.

As far as the 10, I wish Samsung lots of luck with it.

Unfortunately for Samsung they will need it, No matter how good the S10 is they will struggle to sell nearly as many phones as Apple does. Apples logo itself is more important then any spec or feature a phone might have. You talk to any person who does not know much about technology and they honestly believe Apple makes the best products even when in some instances they don't.

This is also unfortunately true for people who are into tech. Just look at the that comments from the "visitors" in the threads of the alternatives forum.

At this juncture in time, Samsung faces similar issues to Apple. Enticing people to upgrade and enticing others to switch. We’ll see how it goes when the phone is formally announced.
