Samsung REALLY should've waited for the Gen 4 announcement in October.

Reasons:
Still outsellint the competition for ANY foldable, globally!
Still THE MOST reliable, again GLOBALLY!
Samsung has 62 Billion in cash stockpile, too bad none was used for the first batch of Gen 4's to he released.

This, especially the last line makes me believe that Samsung has something VERY special for thr Z Fold series this year and for software that'll ship woth it - yet in November when shipping with a SnapDragon 8 Gen 4 with the glory of its NPU and GPU: expect huge photo prowess and tone accuracy as well as gaming improvements, video and photo editing improvements + gaming prowess within Dex Mode!!

Z Fold ultra is coming late 2024.

The translation is amazingly good here in Thailand :)
Which translation specifically?
Google text based?
Galaxy AI text based or Speech to Text based?!
Galaxy AI phone conversational live translation which uses an internet connection I believe. Asking for clarity as the last will cost us monthly charges in 19 months from now.

HUGE Discount on Galaxy Z Fold 5 (only 2 colours White and Blue = both have black camera and hinge Bezels)

VERY curious what is acceptable as a trade-in for the $800 further discount? Either way discounts are good and the big IF to consider is how uch will samsung grant you a trade in for the Z Fold 6 in less than 2 months of purchasing this? Hmm.

Samsung has launched a limited-time deal for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 through its Discover Samsung Summer Sale event. And even if this offer may have arrived too close to the expected unveiling of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 in July, it's just too good to ignore.

Thanks to this deal, the 512GB Galaxy Z Fold 5 is considerably cheaper than the 256GB model. It now costs $1,469 after a generous $450 discount before trade-in.

If you’re able to get the education discount it’s even cheaper and you don’t need to trade anything in. I’m showing $1151 for the 512gb and $1295 for the 1TB. The 256gb is showing at $1709 lol

And a crazy turn of events, I'm leaning heavily towards keeping my Fold 4... I thought we would see a more drastic look in the Fold 6. And judging by these early leaks... the only change I see with the new Fold it has sharp corners. And I completely understand what Samsung is doing here... not trying to radically widen the cover display because some segment of users prefer it narrow this way.

But at least give us something exciting. Heck, there's hardly any improvements to the camera on the Fold 6, I believe it's going to be same (Flip 6 will see an upgraded camera) ... I'm not sure what Samsung is thinking here. But as a Fold user, if we see minor improvements annually... not sure how that will lead to us upgrading.

And I'm paying for Samsung Care+ (increased in cost) on my Fold, so if there's any issues with it... I can get it resolved. And OneUI 6.1 was a really nice update for it.

And I really hope that you do... I know you were concerned about the crease, supposedly Samsung is going to improve on that issue.

I have held off from last year and it’s been a long wait for someone willing to try something different.

Yeah, I have the Fold 5 and don't see any reason to upgrade. I'm very satisfied with my Fold 5. Maybe, Fold 7?😄

Welp, my S-Pen Fold Edition has gone missing. Can't find it anywhere, maybe disappeared while shopping... but I guess now it leaves me no choice but to buy that S-Pen Pro.

But it's difficult to find one, seems as if Samsung has discontinued it and replaced it in favor of the S-Pen Creator Edition... but that doesn't work for the Galaxy Fold. I found S-Pen Pro refurbished (restored) through Wal-Mart, I'm kind of skeptical about it... will find out by Thursday if it was worth it.

How often do you use the pen on your device

Daily. Especially when it comes to multitasking... selecting text, copy and paste. I have my Minimum Width value higher than average, so touch targets are smaller. So, it helps when it comes to navigating around Android, but not much into the whole note taking aspect of the S-Pen.

And I value how much it's part of OneUI... that's what I like about it.
