Expect IOS 13.1.3 to come out within the next week, mainly focusing on bug fixes, there are so many bugs despite 13.1 / 13.1.1 / 13.1.2 getting released, they haven't even fix half of the serious issues that plague IOS 13. I wouldn't be surprised if even IOS 13.1.4 gets released before IOS 13.2 comes out, it probably explains why Apple hasn't release the beta version of 13.2 yet, focusing on the bug fixes first before even thinking of 13.2. IOS 13 is a mess especially if you have went a spent big money on purchasing the new iPhone 11 Pro / Max only to be disappointed by the software.

You and I have very different experiences, apparently. Has it been bug free? Of course not. Is it the buggiest they’ve put out, not by a long shot.

I run into the minor issue here and there, but nowhere near the ‘serious issues that plague’ this OS that you seem to experience.

The first few beta versions were pretty rough, but the last few smoothed out considerably.

That’s why I am in the Apple ecosystem. I am fine with Apple releasing as many patches as it takes to do what must be done.

The only bug I've experienced is the annoyingly loud lock sound that happens sometimes, it'll also increase the typing sound to an extremely loud volume but a restart fixes it.

CarPlay is still buggy for me. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Unplug and replug sometimes helps. Rebooting does nothing. Unpairing and repairing doesn't help either.

Not sure why this isn't affecting everyone. Maybe a silent update from GM will fix it.

Same experience for me, used to work 100% of the time. Now it is about half the time for me, pretty frustrating but my only major issue.

Overall iOS 13 is fine, but they've made Reminders almost unusable for me. Doesn't sync right all the time, app is often unresponsive to marking things complete. This new version was not ready to be released into the wild yet and it shows. And to make matters worse, if you allowed it to upgrade Reminders without paying close attention, you're just stuck. Shared lists with iOS 12 users/devices are broken now and you can't go back until it gets fixed. Just stuck in limbo while they work out the kinks. That pisses me off because I use that every single day.

Of course not, I'm happy they are fixing the bugs, who wants a buggy software, hail no.

Ur right nothing is perfect, but for Apple standards, the stability of IOS 13 isn't good enough, getting released to the public in that state shouldn't happen, I don't know why but it hasn't been the best past year for Apple, all the exploits lately being found in IOS security system, something new keeps popping up by the day, IOS 13 problems didn't sit too well with users and the media.

I'm a long time Apple customer and usually purchase the new iPhone in the first 2 wks when it gets released, with the iPhone 11 Pro which is the iPhone I intend to buy I'm waiting until IOS 13 becomes abit more stable before purchasing it.

FWIW: zero CarPlay issues on 2017 Honda Accord EX stock unit as well as aftermarket Pioneer NEX head unit.

My battery gets eaten up so fast since I updated to iOS 13 and yes photo curation is done. Its so annoying that I think of rolling back to iOS 12.

Yet overall iOS 13 is fine? Lest we not mention the dumpster fire that is mail or the indexing/messages attachments problem.

yeah. All good here. 🤔

Evidently people are experiencing problems but my friends/colleagues/family haven't noticed any bugs. Personally I've spotted a few, nothing show-stopping, which have been fixed in the recent updates for which I'm happy they are being released - we're on an update train that Android users can only dream of.

On the subject of public beta testing, I have long been of the opinion that a large majority of those on the public beta are only on it so they can say they're "beta testers for Apple" to impress their friends down the pub. I've come across a few of these who really have no clue about their phone - and don't report bugs.

Well for me it has been at least. I haven't used Apple Mail for a while on a regular basis. My everyday email client is Spark.

I had the same issues with CarPlay during that mess that was iOS 11. They went away during iOS 12, came back for me with iOS 13, but seems to be working solid again with iOS 13.1.2 for now...

iOS 13 has that bloated buggy mess feel like iOS 11 did. IMO.
