Most iCloud reliant features are not syncing consistently. Safari history is different on my 4 devices signed into my iCloud account. One device, an iPhone 7 gets no current history at all, the other 3, a MacBook Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, and iPad Pro do not match each other in History items. Reminders and similar 3rd party apps that sync through iCloud do not always reflect a completed status on one or more devices when I’ve marked them completed on one. Others have reported similar issues with Notes. I haven’t delved too far into that, i just dont want to know right now. My iPad Pro 12 3rd generation occasionally flips my screen 180 degrees while I’m looking at it without my touching it, thats a brand new one for me.
On that same iPad Pro taking a screenshot of a Safari page, cropping it and saving to photos results in the whole image being saved. Taking a subsequent screenshot and just saving it without editing it causes the original to revert to the cropped version I wanted in the first place. This is consistent and repeatable and has been reported by other owners of this same model. It also occasionally occurs with screenshots in Mail.
Logging into my ATT account on that iPad does not work with the desktop version in Safari, I have to request the mobile version for the password to be accepted.
On my phone, 11 Pro Max using the “silence unknown callers” feature, which I love, results in duplicate notifications and items in the Recents list of each such call.
Nothing that results in the software being unusable but it still is at a beta level. I understand the marketing pressure Apple has in having to release new devices during a specific time frame which requires a new OS to be released at the same time but in iOS 11 and now 13 they just opened themselves up to heavy criticism and alienation of potential customers. I’m heavily invested in their products and have had almost every iOS device since the very first iPhone but they are stretching my patience.
