@Alexander.Of.Oz : you have me stumped with #24. The texture seems very familiar, but I can't quite place it. Bleh.
Answers to mine thus far:
Guessed by several people already in the thread. Kudos and thanks for posting!
(1) A light switch in my shed
(2) The duck-bill connector to an Apple extension cord
(3) A door jam
(4) The underside to a red Lego brick
(5) The Arca Swiss connector on my tripod
(6) The spout of a kettle--I have a series of pics I took of this kettle with steam coming out of it. I think I shared at least one here. It was an exercise in lighting as I liked the concept of lighting the steam and the metal made it significantly more challenging.
@kenoh saw many of these (and still ribs me about them), though the hint also worked for those that know he lives in the UK and thus *must* love tea
(7) As revealed in a previous post, the plastic band surrounding our OJ bottles
(8) A Grey Poupon bottle (as shown in a post above)
(9) The latch on a window screen (actually inside our house and not in the garage)
(10) The front of a Sony flash head
(11) Eggs in an egg crate
(12) A picture hook
(13) A lightbulb (I expected this one to be a little harder than it turned out to be)
(14) Looking up at the front of our fridge. Taken with a 12mm lens and not the 90mm macro I've used for the others.
(15) Window blinds
(16) A latch on a fence
(17) Water flowing from an indoor faucet. Kind of disgusting to see the faucet this close up. We clean dishes and drink from this???
(18) A propane tank for an outdoor grill
(19) The elbow of an outdoor gutter drain pipe. Below is an alternate take of the front which may help you get oriented.
(20) An outside doormat.
(21) A wine bottle opener, the ubiquitous type with the two arms (as
@kenoh described it).
(22) The end of a water hose attachment to control the spray of the water
(23) The roof of our shed (as correctly deduced in minute (and accurate) detail by
@kenoh), though others got it too.

Overall, things have been easy (easier than I was expecting to be honest, though this is a forum of photographers who are used to really *seeing* the world around them). Tough crowd. And
@Alexander.Of.Oz has perhaps outdone me in stumping the crowd.
A couple more of my own which I *think* will be more challenging:
(25)
(26)
(27)
(28) (this one is actually a bit unfair, but I wanted to stump some of the peeps who have been guessing the answers right off the bat!)
