Well, considering that is only currently available to iPhone developers I doubt it comes in this update. (Just a hunch.)

But yes, I can not wait for this feature to come.
 
The "new" news feed is rubbish. The only reason I use the current version of Facebook on my iPhone is that it highlights things which aren't obvious on the website because of all the changes they have made there.
 
You beat me by two minutes! I love the new update, FINALLY, some simple things that should have been added since 1.0.

Darn no push -_- I'll wait. What other choice do I have :D
 
Sounds promising.

My current Facebook app let's me down. I'd get notifications saying things like "Abby has commented on your photo" but doesn't tell me which of the 400 photos it is!? That's why I'm glad #11 (listed in first post) is coming.

The visuals look pretty nice too :)

I don't like the facebook SMS messages either. Sometimes it cuts off what the person writes on my wall, and when they comment on a photo it just gives me the link and not the comment.
 
In v2, if someone writes on my wall I can't comment on it unless someone else has commented first. Will this change in 3.0?
 
New feed makes me a sad panda. Does that mean seeing who became friends with who is now lost forever? :-(

Bit concerned there's no mention of getting copy and paste to actually work too.

I am excited for this update, but the thread title is false. In the note (and even what you quoted) it clearly says he has NOT submitted it, and still does not know when he will submit this update, so how could it be waiting for Apple's approval? huh? HUH!?!?!? :rolleyes:

anywho...sounds awesome. :D

im 25, in college, work for a event promotion company, and am likely the only person i know who doesnt have a facebook account.

i do twitter for entertainment, ability to control the sources of news i want.. and shameless viewing of stupid things famous people do (but again, those who i think are important..

as far as my lack of facebook.. i feel that if i havent kept in close ( or any ) contact with people from "back in the day", there is good reason for that somewhere.
