I wonder if it would now be faster to order through Amazon? Plus you get a $125 or $150 rebate.

I don't know about faster, but certainly cheaper. The lack of sales tax plus the $150 rebate nets you $374.43 savings on the MBP versus the Apple Store. Amazon shipping estimates have almost never been accurate for me though, for products they don't have in stock.

Well, my wait is hopefully almost over. My iMac is now sitting in Austin, TX, awaiting a short flight to San Angelo tomorrow followed by a truck delivery to my house. I just hope all of yours come soon as well.

I've had 2 iMacs delivered to me both within a week, I can't say I've had a problem w/ them getting to me fast, but have had a problem getting to me in one piece, well with the Original one anyway.

I ordered the first one 17" w/ Wireless kybd/Mouse 5 minutes after the store was up after the Keynote on 1/10. The Order shipped on a Friday 1/13, and was Delivered on MLK day 1/16 with a cracked screen.

Called Apple, They sent me return labels, had it picked up on 1/18 and a Replacement was Ordered.

The Replacement was shipped on 1/21 and delivered to me this morning 1/24, with no problems at all.

Unless a lot of people are having problems with theirs, because they told me Replacement orders get pushed to the head of the line.

Hope you all get yours soon, You'll love it once you do!
