The 5s was my favorite design, I like the polished edges it had, unlike on the SE. The SE is one that I've always had a thing for. I have one as my backup/adventure going phone. But my absolute favorite is definitely my Pro Max, I'm in love with it.

iPhone 5. My very first brand new iPhone purchase. I would have gone with the 5s because it has Touch ID, but that was the year Apple introduced Space Gray to the iPhone line. The Black/Slate color of the iPhone 5 was one of the major reasons I got it. Black did not come back until the iPhone 7.

Honestly my favorite iPhone is the iPhone 7/7 Plus. I’m not sure why but it has always had a place for me. I also loved the design of the iPhone 5s with the TouchID as well. The original iPhone SE as well, but the iPhone 7 series is my all time favorite

6s

it will be retired when the 2020 SE is launched.
but will buy it only IF it has a U1 chip.
otherwise, i will wait until September 2020 when the 5.4" screen model is launched.

Definitely the original, which I still have (and would probably still boot up, I bet). It was light years ahead of any phone I'd had previously.

Second place would be the 5, as the first model with a 4" screen and LTE (and the perfect form-factor).

unpopular opinion: the iPhone 4/4s (flat glass back sooo aesthetically pleasing, i’m tempted to just go out and buy one now regardless of how ancient it is simply for its beauty) followed closely by the 5/5s/SE (especially my current phone, the rose gold SE 😍). I just have a strong preference for the boxy looking phones and much smaller compact sizes, they are literally the only phones I can actually fit in my pockets and comfortably use and carry around in one hand. If I need a bigger screen I have a macbook.

I’m probably upgrading to a new 8 or rumored SE soon and i’m excited for the newer features but not looking forward to the large size.. though there isn’t really a choice at this point. No ones ever going to make a small phone anymore :/ that ships sailed. I might either use my SE for music/gym or sell it and buy the new ipod touch instead. Last year I briefly had a Huawei phone the same size as a 6/7/8 iPhone and it just wasn’t comfortable enough for single hand use while listening to music or exercising, and it’s features weren’t much of an upgrade so I ditched it and went back to my SE lol

i have an iPhone7 so liking that one a lot
they all look the same

SE

Perfect size and fast enough to do whatever I want.

This is the truth. When the SE was released I had the iPhone 6s and even tho my wife thought I was crazy I went out and got it. I used it until the iPhone 7 was released and didn’t mind it at all. Something about the 5S/SE in space gray

I’m exactly the same— 4S is favorite, followed closely by SE.

I still have hope that small phones made for one-handed use will make a comeback. I hope the Light Phone is the first of more to come. If they don’t come back though, my secondary hope is in smart glasses.

I could definitely imagine small phones coming back into fashion once every smartphone eventually turns into the size of a tablet. Definitely not anytime soon. But for now, according to every single manufacturer, tHe bIgGeR ThE bEtTeR

iPhone 4. That was when the design took on another level. Steve Job and described it like a licra (spelling) camera. To me it’s the epitome of Steve Jobs design sensibilities and made the phone special. The flat metal rim sandwich by two lanes of glass. I still have one and it still works! No cracks on front or back. Home button stopped working.

My favorite is usually the one I have at the time.. it’s usually not the most current, but it’s always a solid upgrade from the last. After using a max phone for a couple of months my old 7 feels like a 5S in my hands it’s so tiny lol. Next time I may skip the max.. because I used to think my 7 was big coming from a 5S lol.

I have an SE atm, and I personally am of the same opinion as you about the 4/4s. It's sooo pleasing to look at and feels really nice to hold. My SE has been serving me well over the past year and some months and I can certainly say that I'll always use it in some fashion, even if not for a daily driver, until it kicks the bucket. :)

I primarily use my iPod 6.5g for listening to music, but my SE is a common second choice.

The design of the 4 is classic.
