12" Powerbook

the 12" Powerbook for sure. I use two of them daily, for graphic design freelancing. Book 1 renders video in Final Cut Express, and also is my play machine, for using as a DAW (Garageband) with either my M-Audio or Zoom as the audio interface. Works great. Book 2 has Adobe CS3 on it, which i use constantly during the work day. It has a 250GB hard drive and 1.25GB RAM.

For the record, i agree with other posters that there has not been a replacement for this beautiful machine yet. The 13" MBP is big and ugly in comparison. I am holding out for a powerful MB Air... Until then, I am confident my two little 12" Powerbooks will hum along just fine :)

Another vote for the most beautiful personal computer ever designed....

The iMac G4
(flat panel)

The 17" in perticular is the best looking.
It was my first Mac (2003). I still use it to play music, mainly.
Through the years, I've pushed that thing hard, designed, drawn/illustrated, encoded video, downloaded countless files, you name it... It never freezes, never heats up, never gives me any trouble, never lets me down, and looks as good as lovely as it did the day I bought it. *sniff* I love that thing. *single tear rolls down cheek*

As opposed to the problems my Mac Pro gives me.
...or the heat that my friend's new iMac gives off on her's.

Yeah, it's the BEST MAC EVER!!! :)

I have to say my 2.4 black MacBook. I've had it for three years now and I still can't imagine parting with it. It's my absolute favorite Mac I've ever owned. The rest of them I've always been able to sell no problem. This one is gonna stay with me for a long time. It's just too perfect- the size, weight and power it still has is what does it. Plus, it's just so easy to take care of and keep looking nice.

Top-Left, the flower power one. Redesign it for 2010 and less 90s looking, I would buy it.
Indigo and the Graphite PowerMacs really got me, too. I don't really like bondie blue.

I don't really like purple (well, on most stuff), but the Grape iMac is something people would buy today, I guess:

What I miss on modern Macs is a dash of color - may it even be an :apple: in 5 different colors or so, the choice between black and white on the MacBook, mouses and the keys of the aluminum keyboard.
