Can anyone suggest a men’s “summer” fragrance. Something maybe citrusy, not too overpowering but would last a good evening / night out ?

Acqua Di Gio & L'homme by Yves Saint Lauren both have summer variants check them out.

I know a lot of people who get violently ill when subject to fragrances/chemical exposures

Thats why i prefer Eau de Toilette than a parfume. Strong overpowering fragrance give me a headache.

I knew this thread had to exist!! And thanks to the search, I found it!!

Right now my daily, favorite fragrance is L’Eau par Kenzo, nowadays just called L’Eau Kenzo.

It’s exactly what I was looking for in the past, a super fresh, citric and marine fragrance, with touches of peach and roses. In my case, it’s the *pour homme* one. And despite changing the name and the box, the bottle and the fragrance remains the same.

On the other hand, I’d like to try again Antaeus (by Chanel) because the only time I tried it, I loved it!

Aventus pleb reporting in here. I don't wear it too often though because I like my current batch from a few years ago and want to save it. I know people hate on it because it's a fruity scent that's popular amongst the douche crowd but it undeniably smells great especially if you get a nice smoky batch. I've never met someone that doesn't like it. Green Irish Tweed is pretty nice too but I've had bad batches... also it doesn't have very good longevity at all. I don't buy Creed anymore for that reason, I think the quality went down over the years. When I need to re-up my Aventus and Green Irish Tweed I'm going to look for older batches on the resell market.

My go-to at the moment is MFK Baccarat Rouge 540, just a little spray and it's generally non-offensive to wear in most scenarios; it can fly under the radar unless people are directly in your proximity. It doesn't have that obvious "oh that's a perfume" trait like so many others do. I also like Grand Soir from MFK so I need to buy another one of those soon. I received a sample of MFK Oud Satin Mood EDP and it's gorgeous. Not for everyone and certainly not a daily but I think I might pick up a bottle. It's a wonderful blend of rose and oud but I can see how a lot of people might intrepret it as a female or old woman scent -- I don't care, I wear frags for me most of the time, not for others.

Also like a few frags from Tauer (LADDM, ACDD, L'air Des Alpes Suisses) but I don't wear them as often as they're stronger than a lot of other scents I own. Tom Ford's Oud Wood Intense is another classic I love wearing occasionally to formal events.

I'm really interested in picking up a decant of Chanel Egoiste Concentratee as I've heard great things.

I absolutely love my L’Eau Par Kenzo pour Homme (now called just L’eau by Kenzo). It is my favorite fragrance. With aquatic notes, Yuzu on the start and Peach at its heart, it smells wonderfully. However, the performance and duration is really bad, it barely lasts 1 hours.

A not so similar fresh alternative with much better performance is Versace Pour Homme, a very citric fragrance with a woody heart.

Another fragrance I’ve used a lot over the years it’s SOLO by Loewe. It was my main fragrance when I was younger (25 to 30) but it can be a bit too strong. Perfect for autnumm/winter. Pure wood.

Now, instead of SOLO, for the autumn/winter/nights, I prefer to use Dior Sauvage EDT, the new fragrance by Dior. Basically Ambroxanne with a spiced up touch.

And my next acquisition, I’m not sure when, but eventually, is Y, from Yves Saint Laurent. Y has a lot of presentations: Eau de Toilette, EDT intense (Y Live), Eau de Parfum and Parfum. My two favorites are the EDT and the EDP, but I’ll definitely go for the Eau de Toilette because the performance is not bad at all, and the smell is lighter and fresher, and I like it better.

By the way, I have a question for you. Is Loewe a known brand on the USA? On central-northern Europe? Asia? I ask this because Loewe is a Spanish brand, it has its roots here on Madrid, and I’d like to know if it’s globally recognized around the world.

Mmm..you entice me now to try this but i remember years ago i really didn't like most Kenzo's fragrances. Not sure why i am not attracted to blue coloured scent but will certainly try the one above.

I tend to wear Sauvage by Dior as an everyday fragrance. A friend of mine has picked me up a 50ml bottle of Tom Ford ‘Oud Wood’ on his travels as it’s a fragrance I’ve wanted for a while after trying it from another friend.

Have you tried Ombré Leather by Tom Ford? I haven't -yet- but some people say is one of the best leathers on the market.

I wear Joop. Why? Because my wife likes it.

I wish one of my colleagues would wear more/better deodorant in the office!

When the dark red Joop first came out i got addicted to it , it has very unique smell but not for everyone. Its something you use one summer and that's it. Its not a legend like Darkar (Dakar)

I just started collecting and wearing fragrances in the past month. So far my top three favorite scents I have found are Moschino Gold Fresh Couture, Hermés Eau de Rhubarbe Écarlate, and KKW Body II.

Does anyone have any suggestions for other fragrances with realistic fruit notes? Those tend to be my favorite. I am also looking to acquire my first Creed fragrance, and the current top two contenders are Millésime Impérial and Virgin Island Water.
