The rep was misinformed. Even apple’s email mentions how you can cancel the de-activation at any time. You don’t need to wait. I would try another rep. Perhaps call tomorrow in the early morning. Thank you for taking the risk. It confirms that it works although I am not comfortable with the process due to the possibility something might go wrong (Apple card cancellation, losing the code and losing all data, etc)
I got a hold of another rep and he stated the request has been cancelled. No problem, I was glad to take the risk to get it working again.

Did yours start working on its own, or did you have to deactivate your account? I just checked mine and it’s still borked.
On its own, woke up and checked a text and it showed that I started sharing my location with someone via the thread. Checked the settings and it was fixed. This was on my none iOS 15 device.

Did you trying signing out and back in?

Just tried on my iPad on 14.6 and it’s still giving me the error. 😩

Getting this prompt when trying to sign in, and I hit continue and it goes away and nothing happens.

Still no change for me. 🤬
Make sure that you send feedback and screenshots with detailed info. It took me a week to get the first response, and then I did another feedback with beta 2. Never heard a response, but then got the email yesterday that the server had been updated.

It sounds like they are having to do a manual fix on their end with each report? That doesn’t scale well!

You're making an assumption about how wide-spread the problem is.

iPhoneX running PB2, haven't seen any issues with FindMy on my phone. (maybe the battery usage may be higher than on PB 14.7).

Supposedly it happens when adding a new device or re-adding one to your account.

It seems a reasonable assumption at this point based on the evidence in this thread and on the dev forums, no?

How many devices/family etc have you got in Find My? Have you added or removed any since the update? This seems to be something that triggers the issue.
