I got a hold of another rep and he stated the request has been cancelled. No problem, I was glad to take the risk to get it working again.The rep was misinformed. Even apple’s email mentions how you can cancel the de-activation at any time. You don’t need to wait. I would try another rep. Perhaps call tomorrow in the early morning. Thank you for taking the risk. It confirms that it works although I am not comfortable with the process due to the possibility something might go wrong (Apple card cancellation, losing the code and losing all data, etc)
