Is that M24/47 from Mitchell's Mausers?
I bought it from a guy locally that was getting rid of it and a SKS because his wife claimed he had too many.
He said they both came from Cabellas if I remember correctly, and that he'd only had them for about 6 months.
I've heard nothing but good about the k31's, and they're such a unique design.
The Czechs seem to have a history with producing fine firearms, and the Vz 24 appears to be one of the better mausers, that are commonly available anyway. Plus I already have the Cz 82, which I wouldn't mind having another
C&R arms just really appeal to me because of what you get for the price as well as the history. Being able to take a $1-200 piece and be able to match a commercial offering. Granted, you have to have realistic expectations when dealing with a 50,60,70+ year old firearm that has likely seen its better days.
I haven't got my application in yet, probably for the best or I'd be a poor-er college kid.
