Have you tried What's new again? Someone reported that 404 as part of an issue in GitHub, but later got an actual Mozilla message.

Mozilla says:

Firefox Release

March 18, 2025

Version 136.0.2, first offered to Release channel users on March 18, 2025

I guess we just experienced a time machine.

ahoi!

Fanx i3roly for Firefox Dynasty.

FIREFOX_136 rules o.k. with my good old MacBookPro 5,1 - OS X 10.9.5.
-
...the last (for me ?!?l) useable version before os x went to an iphone derivate on LSD.
(but that´s another story...)
-------------
Some strange thing happened with the profiles folder ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox.
-
MacBiter
...but... will it automatically pick up my FF 78 ESR Profile ?
-
Wowfunhappy
.........No idea, I'm sorry! I can tell you it reads profiles from ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox
---
To avoid this, i tried:
--- MultiFirefox ---
A wrapper/GUI for Firefox's built-in Profile Manager ???
But it (or i ?) messed it all up, so i started all over again.
Then after launching FD 136 the first time, it created a new profile folder by itself.
/Users/xyz/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/fnpy49kh.default-default.
???
but o.k., i only had to add my bookmarks and extensions again,
go to "about:config" to avoid the hack. ;-)

Anyway, have a nice day and keep on fightin´ against Technofascism !

My Firefox Dynasty reports itself as 136.0.3 even though the download file says 136.0.2. There are no release notes for 136.0.3, only 136.0.2.

There’s a logical reason for this. If i3roly or his build bot is merging changes from firefox’s main branch then it will have changes not yet released by mozilla. The main branch is normally the current “working” source tree that eventually becomes the next release branch. If mozilla changed the version number in the main branch, then it would be present in firefox dynasty. That also means we are probably just days away from the official release of 136.0.3.

Cheers

Hello guys, good night! First of all I would like to thank you all for the incredible work with dynasty. I would really like to know, how is the development to run this beauty in snow leopard? I also wanted to understand how to put the palemoon theme.

Key word being "to release channel users". The source code existed in the tree since before then. I've also never been clear as to whether the Firefox Dynasty releases labeled "build X" are based on beta Firefox or release Firefox, I guess if one is from 3 weeks ago they're probably based on Beta.

In that case, not going to use this one. Almost certainly doesn't include the latest security fixes. No interest in running a beta.

On the Github page, whatever is shown near the bottom under "Releases" is always the latest version.
?????

EDITED:

Unless, I'm misunderstanding, and your bottom is my top, and vice versa, or a typo???, which seems likely, since the Latest the Firefox 138 0 build1 appears at the top, I wouldn't go by that. Near my bottom in screenshot below under Releases shows quite out of date releases.

Instead, first go to https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/releases/ to see latest from Mozilla, then find same at Dynasty Releases, which would be https://github.com/i3roly/firefox-dynasty/releases/tag/FIREFOX_137_0_2_RELEASE

(To that end, although it will almost certainly - eventually - become the actual Mozilla, I would also hold off for now on the very latest, the Firefox 138 0 build1, which is yet nowhere to be seen*).

* the 138 is due to be released on 4/29 https://whattrainisitnow.com/calendar/

This: https://github.com/i3roly/firefox-dynasty/releases/tag/FIREFOX_137_0_2_RELEASE is what you get AFTER you click the latest release which as I said is under Releases at the BOTTOM of the main page.

(Sorry, when I say BOTTOM I don't mean the actual bottom of the page, but the bottom of the visible page where it says Releases).
