Apple is one of the richest companies on the planet. If they want consumers to trust them, the right thing after battery gate would be offering FREE battery replacements for all affected iPhone 14 users. Of course they first have to develop a better battery.

I vaguely... no. Distinctly. Very distinctly recall Apple doing this exactly for the iPhone 6s models. Give it some time. They can't just snap their fingers and make it happen. They have to be extremely sure of what the problem is; correct the problem; then make enough new batteries to meet the replacement need.

In the meanwhile, I plan on enjoying my iP15Pro and if/when the battery problem rears its head on these models also, I'll take comfort knowing Apple should already be on the matter and can expect a free new battery in a year or so from now.

I‘m a bit pissed. FedEx just texted me that they are delivery my phone tomorrow, not today. Doesn’t Apple pay them for ’first day’ delivery?

*shrug* Maybe the truck carrying yours broke down. Maybe they had too many driver call-outs. Or the package got stuck inside some sorting machine that takes 24 hours to disassemble. Perhaps the delivery team assigned to your iPhone got re-routed to transport a kidney. It's disappointing, I know, but things happen.

Wouhou! Mine just showed up in Ontario. 🙂

Apple beat their delivery estimate again this year. Just like they did last year when I got the Apple Watch Ultra, the iPhone 15 Pro Max arrived on Saturday morning instead of on Monday as originally forecasted.

So I still didn't get it on launch day here in NZ, but one day later isn't too bad… especially since I live way out in the backblocks.

Currently doing a device-to-device transfer from my venerable iPhone 12 Pro Max. It isn't going very smoothly so far.

In Singapore here… Est. delivery for my pro max when I preordered was 7-15 November. Just got notified it’ll be arriving tomorrow via dhl. That’s over a month early!

Question please. :)

I personally LOVE Quad Lock and have used their stuff for my Motorcycle for many years. However, last year with the iPhone 14 Pro Max I upgraded to the then new MAG version of the case. I loved how it looked and how it felt in my hand and pocket.

I did find that it was a bit tighter than expected on the tradition style mount (for my Bike).

But, my biggest issue was that while the case did work with the Apple MagSafe charge it did not do so reliably and I would often wake in the morning with a phone that had not fully charged overnight. :(

Do you use Apple's MagSafe charger with this? And, if so what have your experiences been so far with this phone and case? Worst case I will continue with Quad Lock using the older style case when riding and something else when not. But, I would much rather have this case so I can just keep the phone in it all the time (or most of the time).

Thank you... :)
