"It ain't bragging if you've done it"

Pretty positive stuff from Pogue.

RE: mostly revolving around typing difficulties and sluggish downloads over AT&T's cu

AT&T HAS a much faster network, called HSDPA. I've had the Samsung SYNC since November and it runs flawlessly on their 3G network. Apple just didn't incorporate it into the first release of the iPhone. So don't blame AT&T for "sluggish network speeds", blame Apple.

Does AT&T have anything faster than EGDE that they can roll out within a year's time? I am assuming that maybe Apple did not put 3G in their phone for this reason. It cuts the production cost and the US does not appear to be ready for it anyway. I don't mind waiting a little while for something to load if I cannot get to a WiFi hotspot. Most of what I would be looking up at such times would probably come from "widgets" anyway.

AT&T Has something MUCH faster than EDGE. I've had the Samsung SYNC since November and it runs on their HSDPA network, which is EXTREMELY FAST. So don't blame AT&T for iPhone's sluggish network speeds, blame Apple for not making 3G in the first place.....

So from now on history, we will know this time for the revolution of the world as the iPhone week.

4 sho. This will be a part of VH-1's Remember the 2000s series 10-20 years from now. Can you see comedians joking about it? "Man, remember when people went crazy over the 1st iPhone back in 2007?" And all of us, older and using iPhone version 12, will smile...yeah, we remember. :p
