On 15 Pro Max, flolab screen protector really is the best. That's why I ordered it way earlier and it's ready ahead of time for my new 16 Pro Max. I'm so disappointed when I found out it has unbearable bezels on new phone. That's insane!

16 Pro Max: you can see the black bezel of screen protector overlaps on the edge of screen!! To be fair, it happens only at an angle.

IMG_1447.jpeg

15 Pro Max: no such a thing. Perfectly fit. Please forgive me about the dirt between screen protector and screen. They've served me a whole year.

Left: 16 Pro Max. Right: 15 Pro Max. Flolab screen protectors make the bezels look almost the same width.

Didn't see it coming. Not recommended.

Had same SP on my 15pm & they were excellent, but reading other posts a lot are saying the same with all brands of SP on the 16

With the thinner bezels, a lot of the black border protectors have tolerance issues.

Maybe that will change in the next 3 months now that they can use real phones for their designs instead of dummy units.

How is the glare reduction on these? I have used to torras on my 15 and 16 pro max phones. Love the idea of less glare outdoors and polarized glasses friendly. But I’ve seen issues with this years flowlabs and also past years issues with install that I think they fixed?

How good is the glare reduction really and how was the install and fit compared to torras?

In that first image, is that the actual screen peeking out all along the side or is that a reflection?

Are these cut worse than torras?

Indeed. They need to go back to the drawing board and revise design.

They just need to follow what Belkin does with the perfect fit. So far esr/ultraglass/and zagg all failed to get the proper dimensions and rainbow effect.

I’d say in a month all these companies will have it finally figured it out. Well I hope…

I had this same issue with the FloLabs one time max glass protector on my 16 pro max, this is the screen protector I‘ve used on my 15 pro max without issue and thought I’d be safe with it again this year. When I open the camera app you can really see the bezel overlapping on to the screen sadly. Now I’m on the hunt for something else to try, I did reach out to Flolab to see if they had anything to say about the issue but haven’t heard back about it yet.

I've tried several screen protectors and imo, nothing comes close to Dbrand. Their protectors feel as nice as the naked glass, have the best fitting process and the perfect dimensions.

I might try their prism screen protector, it seems like it might be better since it doesn’t have the black borders, but I’ve never used anything from the brand so I don’t really know how good they are. Worth a try though to see how it works..

Got my flolab screen protector yesterday, seems good to me, it does not cover the screen display area..heard that some other brands have big black boarder

Yours looks much better, which model is it since they have a couple different ones maybe one model is better than the others.

Does Flolabs use a coating for the anti reflective feature? Does it wear off?
Yes, the oleophobic and antireflective coating on my iphone 15 was terrible after a few months. Went back to the Torras when they revised the borders. I had the most expensive version, “OneTime Pro”.

The edges on the FloLab was never as seamless and smooth as the Torras protector that was revised a few months after the release of the 15 Pro.

I would wait for Torras to update their line and get that since I tried 5-9 different brands.

That’s interesting. Someone on Reddit claimed the AR was part of the glass itself but every other AR is a coating. Otherwise glasses would use that instead of a coating that wears off. Oleophobic is always a coating.

That’s the only reason I’d get flolabs over Torras so if it does wear off it’s a no go.

Yea maybe so but the oleophobic coating was so bad on the Flolab that the AF layer didn't matter after a few months, my screen would get so smudged up so I could hardly see the screen past all the fingerprints in the sun, even after cleaning my screen rigorously.

I hated the Flolab last year for the 15 Pro Max. It was a huge Fingerprint Magnet. Way more than everything else. Can anyone compare who had the 15 and the 16 Version?
