Thanks. That’s helpful. I am curious what the need for the black border at all is.
Yeah, the border seems unnecessary on a 3D curved screen protector. On a 2-2.5D protector the border prevents the rainbow effect while also hiding any debris that collects under the edge.

I wonder why the hot bend cannot also have their anti glare and polarized friendly features?

Did you miss reading @Bastizor post above? It says hot bend protectors do not have the anti reflective or the other coating straight from CS

That was only the hot bend screen protector, was it not?
Their revised 2.5D screen protectors should be offered with anti-glare and anti-rainbow

I wonder if it has to due with adhesive application. With curved glass, you can't apply the thin adhesive over the whole protector with a roller like you normally can. Old android accessory brands would only have adhesive around the black edge, with nothing on the clear part. That kind of protector was horrible.

Whitestone used to solve this by using a liquid, UV-cured glue with their protectors. Not sure why they stopped those.

I actually reached out to FloLab about this and here is their response: “
Hi, _____

Thank you for asking. Most likely we'll implement them, it's currently under testing.” I asked if they would include the same antireflective coatings as the screen protector I got which was the OneTime Pro ClearVue reinforced edges version.

Good to see they changed their stance!
