iPhone Foldericons for iOS 6?

Beta works for me!

Glad I looked on here, I've been waiting for ages for FolderIcons to be updated.
I installed the beta last night and, having saved the folder icons that I'd made previously, had everything back up and running within 30 mins!
Touch wood, the beta seems to work perfectly for me, thanks for all the advice here!

Just as a matter of interest, I used various programs to create my png's, mainly SerifDraw and paint and saved them with the @2x suffix, e.g. 'Work@2x.png'. I then used iSpirit to drag and drop them into the foreground folder and everything worked perfectly.

Yes it does, you just have to make your icons 10% smaller then.

BTW, I reduced the my old (from FolderIcons in iOS v5x) icon size (PNGs) from 128x128 to 112x112 and will try BETA FolderIcons for iOS v6x today...

Hi all,

Thus far everything works OK - after 15+ minutes of work (this includes resizing of my old iSO 5x FolderIcons) I now have my old SpringBoard back!

The only problem I encountered is nested folder where the custom folder icon of nested folder would disappear after some entering / exiting the nested folder if the background was set to "Empty" (i.e. transparent). I fixed it by creating my own transparent background PNG... strange...

I cant seem to get this beta. The repo doesnt work, does anyone have the deb file by any chance? I seem to have an issue adding any myrepospace.com source, none of them work.

I'm wondering will FolderIcons be updated for iOS 7. This is the best and only tweak for folder icon customization under iOS.

When you say updated, are you talking about FolderEnhancer or FolderIcons? Enhancer has indeed been updated, but this thread is about FolderIcons and if anyone has info on updates, we would appreciate hearing about them.

How weird. If I search for foldericons, the bigboss version does not show up. But when I go to the packages section of bigboss it's there. Thanks for pointing this. I'm a happy camper now.

Seems like it needs a little tweaking. I had to experiment with file sizes for the foreground and background, and even then it looks a bit out of focus.

Of course, it might be user error.

No such issue on iPhone since icons are not rotating on springboard when changing from portrait to landscape.
