I wouldn’t call it a disappointment… because I don’t think camera should be a focal point when looking at a foldable phone. When I want to take some good quality photos… I have a dedicated camera for that purpose.
IMO, the reason to have a foldable phone is the 2-1 factor… unfolding to have the tablet experience and folding to place it in the pocket. Anything else is just gravy, do I desire flagship quality camera in a foldable? Absolutely. But it’s not a make or break kind of situation.
Because again… having flagship camera technology in a foldable comes the ridiculous cost of it which follows the criticism of the cost.
Thinnest wins as it's simply one of the best headliners you can have
Apple mac-books would never been as successful without the worlds thinnest laptop airs , even though there were better and lighter laptops out there by OEM's like Sony Z carbon fibre series that were just 2mm thicker at the fatter point.
There was also a lot of over criticism on folding something makes it fatter to fit in your pocket which was a load of BS IMO as people have been folding things like your dollar bills for the last 60 years
Because these would never catch on and just a fad etc etc and everyone chooses to keep their bills flat like a slab phone, a solution looking for a problem .................. not LOL

Same as every critic has now become a fatigue expert and ignores the fact that buildings, bridges airplanes etc etc all flex and don't break after 3 months or the 1000's of moving parts in our cars should worry us to death and really we should be walking
It's almost a shame that Samsung did not evolve the folding tech sooner and stop the larger format slabs from becoming common place
As for camera's I believe the vast majority of users put the subject matter 1st (eg this me and my friends getting smashed, hear's our cat or kids of grandchildren etc) these shared images are glimpsed at and the majority are not pixel peeping on critiquing image quality.
I agree many will assume by paying more for your phone you should expect a certain level of features and maybe the N5 is a bit sub par but given as we have seen with the Fold special addition how much the price jumps for adding more premium hardware there is a balance to be had on pricing yourself out of the market demographics
Everyone moans and want's more for less, which is simply not realistic and if having the best looking foldable currently available means some compromise have to be made to keep to a price point I think it's understandable and one that many will accept as the WOW factor is strong with this one
